  2. February 11, at the new Silver Cross in New Lenox. Where did you have yours?
  3. I was hoping for that one as well! Haha
  4. I bought then and haven't tried them yet, good to know!
  5. Oops hit send too fast. Again while I don't suggest doing what I did, just try your hardest and follow the rules from here on out. The pre op was the hardest part for me. Haven't been the slightest but hungry since I had surgery.
  6. I did so bad on mine. While I DO NOT suggest this, I'm just telling you what I did. I was supposed to do 2 weeks of 2 shakes per day and 1 meal of 4 oz protein & 1/2c veggies. I totally blew it the 1st week. Couldn't control myself. I half assed it the next few days (did my 2 shakes then blew it at dinner). Then I followed the rules and was really strict the last 4-5 days. I was so afraid they were gonna get in there the day of surgery, see I screwed up and close me back up. After surgery I asked how my liver was and he said perfect.
  7. I did so bad on my 2 week diet. I completely didnt do it the first week, did it half assed the second week, and was strict the last 5 days. So I only lost about 4-5 lbs
  8. Damn girl look at you! I wouldn't even know that was the same person! Amazing! You look beautiful (you were beautiful in your before pic too).
  9. I do too and it's HORRIBLE! I have to plug my nose and take it like a shot, and several times I gag it right back up. I have to take it until I'm 4 months post op.
  10. I've seen multiple people use them to get food "unstuck". I have an ulcer, and I'm on 2 different meds for it. I am nauseous 95% of the time and I would rather just not eat at all. Even water has been tough to choke down lately. Do the papaya enzymes help with nausea as well? Or if anyone has any other advice I would love some help. Thank you in advance.
  11. Monken, CONGRATS!!! What a huge milestone! Have a great day!
  12. My friend just dropped off a bunch for me....42g of Protein in 3oz. Im a little nervous, my gag reflex has been so awful lately. Everything makes me sick!
  13. Anyone else feel nauseous every time they eat or drink? I had a scope done a few weeks ago because of it (thought it was a stricture) and found out its an ulcer. I'm on protonix and carafate 4x a day, and I feel like for every 1 or 2 days of feeling good, I feel crappy for 3. Even water makes me nauseous.
  14. Starting weight: 249 Surgery weight: 233 Today's weight: 195.4
  15. I've been supported by almost everyone since day one with this. Today one of my BEST friends basically called me out on all this, saying she can't support me but tries to "as much as she can". She compared this to having a boob job or LASIK, just another "elective" surgery. She thinks I was lazy and should have just done more to workout and diet. My feelings are SO beyond hurt.
  16. If my pouch likes something, basically nothing happens. If it doesn't, a number of things can happen. Sometimes after 2 or 3 bites I get a slightly queasy feeling to full on nauseous feeling. Worst case, I end up puking it up.
  17. You look amazing. You looked great before and wen better now!
