My potassium was low in the hospital. They gave me 6 bags I think before I left w/ the IV. Omg did it burn. I think if you get to the range where u really need it, you will get it

Congrats on your 3 months!!!!

I have to take potassium supplement daily and it'sl liquid and I have to mix it with water... It is so nasty!!! I hope you don't have to take any cuz I feel sick every morning after I take it!

When it's allowed on your diet, try eating a banana once a day. Lots of potassium. I've been treated for high blood pressure for years and since I was on a diuretic, had to take potassium. Since the potassium pills always made me nauseous I only took them once in a while and I ate bananas and my lab work always came back good.

I do too and it's HORRIBLE! I have to plug my nose and take it like a shot, and several times I gag it right back up. I have to take it until I'm 4 months post op.

Oh I know the feeling!! Sometimes my diamox gets stuck in my throat because I cut the pill in 4 and I keep drinking to get it down but then I've drank too much and my new pouch will either make me feel like I'm dumping( sweaty, hot, dizzy and nauseous.. Then the other day it happened and I felt like someone ripped my pouch out and couldn't catch my breath !! I thought I was gonna have to call 911... But about 30 minutes later it finally stopped!!
