  7. The first few days sucked. I was way more sore than I planned on. For the first 5 days I was definitely thinking "what did I do to myself" and regretting it. Then I woke up one day and felt better, and every day since feeling better and better. I already can say what I great decision it was and I don't regret it at all. Weight is coming off, I'm not hungry at all. I had 1 day where I was hungry and panicked like "oh crap it didn't work" and not I'm still not hungry at all. Of course you'll be nervous. Id think it's weird if you weren't! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
  8. I threw up for the first time last night. I felt a piece of chicken get stuck in my chest (OUCH!!) and took a **tiny** sip of Water to try to get it unstuck and I knew immediately it was going to come back up, and it did along with the rest of my meal. I'm glad the first one is over, I've been so nervous to puke since surgery. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

  10. I've had 2 csections and the dr had a plan B just in case he got in there and there was too much scar tissue. He would have done a sleeve. After surgery he told my husband that there was some scar tissue from the c-sections but not as bad as he had expected. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
  11. Wow......thank god for my husbands insurance. I just added everything up, all the charges that got sent to insurance. I stayed an extra night and had a CT scan too. so between the hospital stay, surgeon, anesthesia, and all the little things in between, the grand total was $89,406! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
  12. I had a similar situation. When I first mentioned it and was on the fence everyone told me not to do it. For one reason or another. Then once I told them I made my decision I started getting a little more support. My husband was 100% against it in the beginning, and once I say down with him, told him why I needed it, showed him the stats on morbid obesity, he is now one of my biggest cheerleaders. Congrats on your decision. I'm sure they will come around eventually! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
