A month post op

The pounds are coming off quickly and I'm excited about it but I am also feeling low energy. I tire easily. I go out for walks and some days I'm okay but most others I am tired after walking just a few blocks. It's a bit frustrating. I am trying my best to keep up With all my vitamins. My doctor said to walk and even start exercising a bit. With this energy level, I can't even think about exercising yet. Anyone else have low energy?

I'm 6day post op and feel the same way even though u have more time than me. I am so tired walking is my big chore. I do it when the pain is low and about 10mins in I feel like I'm going to fall out. Hoping to get my energy level back

Same here. When I've overdone it I've actually felt faint a couple of times.

I'm 2 weeks post op today, and besides being tired I feel great. But I could lay down alllll day to be honest.

I'm only 5 days postop and I'm majorly tired. I could have slept all day if my husband hasn't woken me up after a 3 hour nap. I wish I had energy!

In the beginning yes but like 3 months I was feeling so energized

4 weeks post op And I have no energy at all. I have to force myself to even walk the dog. Hope to get my energy back soon.

I'm 5w3d and some days I feel fine and other days I feel blah! I'm finally able to get in all my vitamins but protein not so much...most times I'm not hungry or get full too fast.

Like mami said... Energy does come back especially the more protein you can add and the more exercise you do

I'm going to be one month on the 6th and I am tired and have no energy. I think it's normal and it gets better at least you have walked a block or more...I haven't been able to leave the recliner chair until two days ago!

I take the sublingual B12. My doctor hasn't memtioned anything about the shots.

I get so frustrated because when I am feeling good I try to do more. For example, I went for a walk yesterday and I was feeling so good that I went twice as far as I had been going. I was so excited! Then, the minute I got back to my house I crashed. Felt like absolute poo. I barely had the energy to do anything. Now, 24 hours later I still feel gross. Lethargic, almost to the point of nausea. I ate some Breakfast, but I really have some things I want to do today, but it doesn't feel like it is going to happen. I feel really down about it and extremely worried about when it comes time to go back to work.

I'm also frustrated because I had made peace with Protein shakes before surgery and now, I can barely choke down 1/2 of one before I am so sick. Ugh...it's going to be one of those days. Lol

Thankfully, tomorrow is a new day.
