  3. I'm supposed to get 60, and I get between 40-50 pr day. How about you?
  4. Weird question.....where is the pouch located? Is it the same for everyone? I had 5 incisions and I think it's hinder the top one on my left side?
  5. Down 65. I have 35 more until my goal.
  6. Starting weight: 249 Surgery weight: 233 Last week's weight: 188 Today's weight: 185
  7. John! I've missed seeing you post! Do you think you should get a second opinion?
  8. I'm always cold now, and I LOVE it! It was actually one of the things I looked forward to the most. I've spent so many years sweating my ass off and boiling hot, I'm loving being able to wear scarves and sweaters and cuddling up!
  9. I easily tied my shoes yesterday. I started Couch to 5K and completed the first day without stopping.
  10. Yes! I'm the same as you, I've always had a strong sense of smell, but now it reminds me of when I was pregnant!
  11. I have one. About 6 weeks post op I had trouble keeping anything down and was nauseous constantly. My surgeon & I both assumed it was a stricture. We did a scope and found an ulcer. He put me on protonix and liquid carafate and I felt better in a few days.
  12. Happy Happy birthday! Post a pic of you with the new Louis!
  13. This is something I struggle with daily. I'm supposed to get in 64oz a day and I usually get 2 or 3 bottles in.
  14. I'm 10 weeks post op and just starting adding fruits this week (1/2c a day even though I'm not eating that much). This is basically the first real carbs I've had since surgery. I think I'm feeling "hungry" for the first time since surgery. Could the carbs from the fruit be making me hungry? If so I'm don't with fruit. I don't want that hunger to come back.
  15. Wow look at you! What an amazing difference. Congrats!
  16. That sounds so good. Pickles would be considered a veggie, right? I just got cleared for veggies 2 weeks ago.
  17. Starting weight: 249 Surgery weight: 233 Current weight: 188
  18. I just had Chinese the other night. Obviously no rice, but I had shrimp & lobster sauce (it also has chunks of steak in it). I looked up the stats on it first and it was low carb, high Protein, and delicious. Believe it or not, I'm not missing a whole lot of food. Stuff just doesn't sound good to me anymore. BUT I think I could trade one of my arms for a good pop.
  19. I had actual hunger for 1 day about 6 days post op and freaked out like "oh shit it didnt work!". I don't feel "hunger" at all anymore like I used to. I've learned I'm actually hungry now when I get queasy.
  20. My starting size was 22-24 & 3X tops I'm currently (2 months post op) in 16-18 & XL tops Goal is size 12 & M-L Dream goal is size 10 & M
  21. I was just discussing this with my mom today. I'm 2 months post op and in a size 16 down from a 22-24. When I was bigger I felt I stood out more for being fat. I still have a long way to go until my goal, but I already feel more comfortable in public and feel like I blend in with the "normal" people and feel so much better about that. I feel like I don't stand out for my size anymore and it's such a relief.
