  1. I haven't found a Greek yogurt that I like. I tried several of the Chobani. They all taste spoiled and tart.
  2. So happy for you. I had to use the new direction shakes and bars too. My dr office required them for 2 weeks preop.
  3. Have you tried calling the insurance company to see how long it takes them to approve? Sometimes they may send a letter of approval instead of a email or faxed approval.
  4. They have a apple one? I haven't seen that one.
  5. Yea!! That's so exciting. It will be here before you know it.
  6. I want to raid my moms closet. She had RNY 9 years ago and has the cutest clothes. She's between a size 10-12. I can't wait. Also to buy a cute bathing suit.
  7. Wishing you a great surgery and speedy recovery. Dont be nervous they give you happy juice in your IV. You'll do great!!
  8. Yea its frustrating. Hopefully the weightloss will start back up.
  9. I'm right there with you at 5 weeks post op. I think part of my problem is having trouble going to the bathroom. Even with stool softeners I still have trouble.
  10. That makes me feel better. The last week and a half the scale has barely moved. I'm 5 weeks postop.
  11. Everyone is different. I took 6 weeks because I had the sick time available. Some days i feel great and full of energy. Some days I am dragging. I am sure you will be fine.
  12. I love fish and have been wanting some salmon for over a week. I have to find a easy to follow recipe. I was used to eating a lot of ghd breaded stuff preop. It doesnt go down well post op. I love tilapia and catfish as well.
  13. Wow 100 grams seems so hard to get to. I definitely can't give up on my pouch. It took too long to get this surgery approved to give up. I'll keep working on more protein and Water. Thanks so much for the advice and motivation. This group has been so helpful. I am so glad I found you all. One of the nurses at the bariatric center recommended the site.
  14. Thanks mami. I hope you feel better as well.
  15. Sounds good. I love peanut butter cookies.
  16. I don't throw up but I'm tired all the time. I don't know how I will function when I go back to work next week. I'm 5 weeks post op. I get my required 60gr protein in. I don't always get the 60oz of water in though. I have been hitting it this last week though. I had lost 16lbs when I went to my two week follow up and only 4 more since then. Those 4 pounds took my 3 weeks to lose. I started walking the 2nd week post op. My start weight was 259 and I'm 5'3. Thanks for letting me vent.
