  1. I find that if I drink water it helps...my problem is if I eat instead of drinking then I never stop eating....good luck.
  2. My favorite mushie meal was spaghetti sauce put in a blender and served with cottage cheese....taste a little like lasagna.....
  3. If you can drink with no problem you probably just irritated the band....if fluids are not going down you need to call your dr. For some reason I can not eat hamburger meat at all anymore, even a little bit gets stuck and it doesn't matter how tight or loose I am..... Good luck...
  4. What ever you avoid the urge to throw up!!! That is how your band slips....it might feel good at the time, but the long term consequences are really bad. I have found that pineapple juice is the best....good luck.
  5. I did this two years ago just occasionally and my band slipped.....I learned that there is no safe way to throw up with the band.
  6. Are those the ones at dollar general? If so they have alot of caffeen.
  7. Any kind of throwing up...I think that drs should warn us against acid reflux...that was my first symptom...now that I know what to look out for I know when to see the dr. right away.
  8. My dr. Said just liquid...no purée. My favorite broths are from homemade soups and bean broth, I just make sure I strain everything out. I freeze it so after fills when I have to be on liquid for a day or two I have it on hand. I hope this helps.
  9. What did they have to do for your revision?
  10. Had my revision yesterday...all he had to do was fix the tubbing the band was fine. As far as other problems....when my band slipped it was due to bad food choices, getting stuck and throwing up.....If I ever get acid reflux again I will be at my dr. Office in a heat beat....
  11. My band slipped two years ago...all my fault...had another revision yesterday...my tubing was not working correctly...I love my band and would not get the sleeve because they remove part of your stomach..
  12. I also styed overnight for my first two...I just hope the office manager who told me a few hours is correct...I guess...not sure if I want to rush home...I remember all the gas...yuck. Good luck to you....were you slipped?
  13. How long did you stay in the hospital after your revision? For my first one I stayed over night, but I was the last one operated on and I had been sick...they said this time I could leave in just a few hours.
  14. I live in Texas and can no longer find spaghetti squash...
  15. Oops that was suppose to be acorn squash.
  16. Some cramming on the right side, not to painful...not sure what is wrong this time...I am having it fixed Wed. I hope my dr. Can tell me what was wrong with it....
  17. I would use account squash first...it is musher....my favorite mush meal is spaghetti sauce with cottage chees blended...
  18. I use spaghetti squash all the time...also accord squash...yum
  19. Go on liquids right away and make an appointment to see your dr. You may need to take some fluid out. Once you regurgitate you can start to swell which will only get worse if you try to,eat. Hope this helps....
