I just sucked on a piece of dove dark chocolate sugar free.....it was heavenly...chocolate was my weakness and I was afraid it wouldn't be enough but I was totally satisfied.

I tell everyone. What I was shocked by were the number of people that had someone close that has had it and even a few that had themselves. I could care less how judgemental people are, I did this for me not them. And well when u loose a ton of weight in a short time they will start to wonder.

We have been here for about a year. Came from fort drum new York...it sure is different down here compared to my home state of Michigan lol

Look for me on Facebook Nessa Cadle...we are going through this same weight loss thing. My hubby has been deployed before and we are living the military thing too. We can support each other.

I seen one on pintrest last night that the crust was a big portabella mushroom cap...soooooo going to try that one.

I was told by my nutritionist 6 weeks out before starting the bars. Try quest bars from gnc or online. They are like 26 maybe 25g of protein and my surgeon personally recommends them. They come in a ton of flavors.

I will be 6 weeks tomorrow and had a small salad with fresh spinach tonight and did fine.

I had a grilled veggie burger with no bun, a dab of lite Mayo, a little onion and tomato and a piece of fresh spinach. A 1/4 of a dill pickle and a tiny salad of fresh spinach, a couple chunks of cucumber and tomato with fat free dressing. I have went through TOO much to mess up....this was my first real meal since surgery...ill be 6 weeks out tomorrow.

I had the exact same thing...nothing you explained was any different than what I had. I am now about a month out and I don't have any of that. I do advise a stool softner later though because (sorry for this next bit) after the real tummy stage I was like heck no I am not taking a stool softner but I paid for it one night I had to go so bad and it literally took me over an hour. It was a miserable thing.

I agree quest bars are recommended by my surgeon.

My doctor has me take Prilosec, Biotin, Calcium with but D, multivitamin, and B12....I have never heard of a surgeon not prescribing those things.

I take Bariatric Fuel my surgeon designed. You can buy it online.
