I can eat anything my sleeve is comfy with. I've had no issues with anything so far. No complaints. Clothes are getting loose. Family and friends super proud of me.

I was sleeved on Feb. 6. I lost quickly the first week, then have slowed along with a few no loss weeks. I have put my scale away per my doctor's suggestion. I've lost 24 lbs. I'll take it even though it seems slower than most.
Please get help with your depression. Hope you feel better soon.

My mom is very supportive as well. Most of the people who have not been...have no clue about weight loss surgery. Best of luck to your daughter!!

What a horrific experience!! Glad you back HOME!

I voted that I sit down on weekends and plan the week. That's what I've always done and what I will continue to do. However, I'm only 6 weeks out and not everything tastes "right" so my menu planning is on hold for now for myself (but I plan for others in household). I do buy a variety of Protein and eat what sounds good or what I can tolerate.

I, too, was sooooo worried about the gas. I HAD NONE! Before surgery, I ordered lots of samples of Protein so that after surgery, I would have several to pick from. As long as you are taking your Vitamins and getting Protein in, you shouldn't have malnutrition issues. I don't eat a lot but I do make sure I get my protein in, both with real food and protein powders.

I'm almost 6 weeks out. I had minimal pain. Slept in my own bed the first night home. (was in hospital 2 nights). Went to the grocery store 2 days after I got home. No problems. Just couldn't lift anything over 10 lbs per my surgeon. I don't think I would have had trouble with stairs. BUT... everyone is different!

I'm sorry about that appt!! How frustrating for you. Maybe after the test someone will answer your questions.

It's only over if you want it to be over.... Don't give up! Are you exercising at all? Even simply walking will make a world of difference.

have you tried several Protein powders? I'm sorry you are struggling.
