I had to be on liquids a full 3 weeks, did your doctor say it was ok to eat thid soon? The stomach needs time to heal, I feel you are rushing it a bit to soon.Good Luck.

I'm with you guys all the way, I was banded April 11 th. and had my fill 11 days. I still don't feel any restriction, everyone says be patient. I'm starting to feel like the weight loss won't really ever happen. I have lost 22lbs. but it has slowed down dramantically. I guess we have to wait and see. Good Luck we can win this battle with weight we have the tool.

I had my period while I had surgery it didn't stop anything.

I am going on my 2nd month my doctor wouldn't because he wanted to see how I did with my meds crazy I think. So my surgery was April 11,08 and still no fill hang in all docs are different. Your in banster hell.

The meds are just fine no problem at all.

I'm already 7 weeks out!!!! Now wait a few more this stincks.

Wendy can you believe no fill today doctor said let"s see how you do with your meds first, I am so bummed out.

Name: tweety 63 aka Colleen Date april 11 th. 08 Weightloss so far 25lbs. How am I feeling blessed to have been able to have this surgery, walking two to three time a week.

I take 2 flintstones complete a day and a sublingual b-12 seems ok so far.

My one month anniversary was April 11th. still on full liquids, getting so hungry. Doctor maked us wait until 6 six weeks for solids foods. Down 24 lbs. I'm happy with that but, I'm getting hungry!!!! Colleen

Congrats I had my surgery 4-11-08 1 month tomorrow it proves to me it can be. What an inspiration !!!!!!!!

Mine took almost 30 days that is how long they have to get back to you, before you can really pitch a fit.

The best of luck to the both of you. I will be hear before you know it. I won't lie expect some pain and discomfort. I will say this, it goes away pretty quickly. Take your pain meds. I was banded on fri April 11,08 I'm so happy with my decision so far. My weight loss thus far is 23lbs. just do what the doctor tells you to do and you'll be fine. Colleen

My ins. was an hmo they did everything to prevent me from being approved. I would proceed with caution. Don't loose to much weight under the 40 bmi you will have a better chance for approval if you stay closr to 40 bmi. Just my opnion. I finally got approved after appealing the decision the hmo group made. Colleen PS. Its worth the fight !!!!!

I had bcbs hmo of il did 12 mths. supervised diets and visits they tried to deny me .I appealed it and the approved it . Mild sleep apnea high cholestrol joint pain. Don't give up !!!!!! Colleen

I would diffentaility appeal it, I did and got approved!!!! But I had bcbsf Il. It's worth a try.

I'm sure hearing that was scary, I will pray for you!!!!! With God all things are possible.
