Taking pills in gel caps

hi, i just got banded june 24, and was told i can only swallow pills like an M&M in size, but gel caps must be opened up and take powder out.

what do you mix the medicine with normally?? I am referring to taking the Ursodiol pills.

Please help me with this.. thank you.:confused2:
