  1. I was at the Bears game tail gating pbd twice just went infront of the car. Not to many saw it happens.

  4. I have rhuematoid arthritis I take feldene, plaqunil. and methrtexate. I've had the band a year so far no problems.

  6. I feel like such a failure, kids keep asking how come your not losing the weight mom you had surgery. I just can't wrap my head around a cup of food and we are supposed to be full. I fought my insurance co. hard to get this surgery and I'm failing. Lost 20lbs sat. will be a year!!!! HELP!

  12. Hang in there you can do it, remember it will start your weight loss going again. It's probably heas hunger, try some yogert.

  16. I think you need to talk to your doctor soon too much restriction isn't always a good thing.

    Give it some timeit really does getmuch better after around 3 or 4 days I felt much better. Keep taking your liquid meds unitl your comfortable. I hated them also , I would hold mynose when I took it.
  18. If you don't stick with the diet your liver may not shrink enough and you could wake up from surgery without a band. I say stick to the diet your doctor gave you.

    Believe me this is normal, it's called banster hell until you begin to get some restriction. When it's time get your fill you'll be ok. Hang in there
  20. I have RA I take a weekly dose of methrotrexate 7pills on thurs night, then daily I take feldene and proxican, haven't had any trouble yet. My surgeon had me off all meds the first two months after the band. Then I was having to many flair ups and started taking all meds again, no problems.

    I didn't feel any restriction after my first fill, but this second wow do I ever. It depends how aggressive your doctor is let him know you don't feel anything.
  22. Good Luck I had surgery on April 11th 08 couldn't sleep the night before for anything.
  23. I had a fill on Fri. and all the sudden I feel a tightness in my chest area, if I walk fast and talk. Or if I just talk to fast is that normal????

    I understand how you feel. I was banded April 11,08 lost only 23 lbs thus far. Only one fill my doc is very stingy with fills. I'm getting so fustrated. Maybe we'll get restriction after a coule of fills.
