Oh, you're welcome, but I knew there would be a few challenges with trying to use a sheet I set up with my data. Still, there may be some things we can do.
1a. I set it up for putting in a single date (surgery day for me, but could really be any date you want) and letting the sheet fill in the dates for the two weeks before and 40 weeks (or so) after. The key to this is finding (selecting) your "start date" and entering it into cell A17.
1b. You are certainly welcome to unlock the page and make any changes you want, but there are LOTS of calculations on the sheet so beware that some of your changes could have unintended consequences. When the page prompts you for a password simply hit the "Enter" key without putting anything into the password field.
    2. I use the Milestones section for points in my journey that are special to me. For example, one of my first milestones was "25 lbs lost". I calculated the weight for this and entered it into column K. In column O I typed in "25 lbs lost". I was thrilled to be able to type in "8/11/2013" when I hit this goal. As another example, by doing a few calculations I knew that my moving from "class III obesity" to "class II obesity" was going to happen at 267 lbs. So I entered this weight into column K, and in column O I typed "class II obesity". Again, I was thrilled to be able to type in "8/13/2013" to column Q when I achieved that goal.
Other milestones for me were things like "50 lbs lost", "75 lbs lost", "<250 lbs", and "goal". One of my more customized goals says "Dow start weight" because I remember weighing in at 262 lbs. when I started work at Dow Chemical back in 2001. I got to check that one off on 8/24. :-)
    Hope this helps some!

I recall being in college and happy about weighing 145lbs. Had nice curves, but was not fat.
My surgeon's office set my goal weight at 155 and said I could go lower if I chose to. The way I figure, when I get to 145, if I seem sick looking I could gain a few pounds. Heck, I am a weight GAINING expert! Putting on a few pounds shouldn't be a big deal!!! Just want to be at a stable weight.

I am 5'9 and would love to be 190. I haven't been 190 since before high school. I have 150 pounds to lose to reach that goal. That number seems so huge--that's another freaking person! Mostly, I want to lose 100 pounds and get closer to a healthy me. I will keep evaluating my progress as I go and keep on trying. Good luck to you!

Well, here I am at 5 months out. The first picture was taken at a ladies mountain retreat in October 2012 (6 months before my band-to-sleeve revision.) Pic 2 was taken in early May 2013, about 2 weeks after surgery and pic 3 was taken yesterday. It's happening! I'm feeling good and enjoying my sleeve. I think it works like the band was supposed to work. I have restriction now and I haven't had any food get stuck since surgery, so I'm no longer looking for the nearest restroom in case I have to make a run for it. I tolerate every food that I've tried, except caffeine. I get caffeine jitters after only a few sips now and it just doesn't taste the same, so I don't bother.
I'm proud of how far I've come. It feels so good to sit and bend comfortably. I am excited about losing the rest. There are so many more nsv's to uncover as a I continue on this road to recovery. I'm still working on the emotional eating, reducing my fat intake, and getting in enough Protein and exercise. It's still a lot of work, but it all feels do-able now. I am a work in progress.

Well at least she showed up. I had one day of bleeding last week and knew something didn't seem right, took a test today and I'm guessing it was implantation because I definitely got a BFP today!

Carole, I work in insurance and this problem is pretty common. My first recommendation would be to call Aetna. You did your due diligence as the member/patient by selecting a participating (in-network) surgeon and facility. You had no say in the anesthesiologist, so you should not be on the hook for any additional charges (outside of what your charge would have been had they been in-network). You have to be persistent with them, but in the end it should work out in your favor. Feel free to PM me if you would like to discuss further!

Wow feeling good today, I'm down a total of 60lbs including weight I lost during preop diet today. The last week has been filled with stalls and I didn't think I would see the scales drop until next week. Just wanted to share my progress. I had my sleeve on 07/29/2013 so about a month and half just about .......

I was sleeved on 8/16 and I am having a similar experience. While I agree that it is frustrating, I think it is completely normal. While the big losses in the beginning are great, they do not typically continue indefinitely. Your body is healing and changing. It tries its best to hold onto weight because it hates you (really because it thinks theres a famine lurking behind every corner). If you are eating good things, drinking enough Water, and sleeping (this is my problem) the weight loss will start again. I think it is easy to get discouraged when you look at these boards and see people that have lost 250 lbs in 3 months, but you dont know their weekly breakdowns. Im pretty sure when you go to see your nutritionist she wont be worried about it, but will be excited about your total loss since surgery, I believe this is how they gauge progress. My aunt went to to the nutritionist yesterday and she has lost 19 lbs since surgery, they were proud of her. I have lost 26 lbs since surgery but keep going between 292 and 293, I dont go back to the Dr. until 10/15, irrespective of the fact that I would like to be at goal already, Im fairly confident that I will have lost additional weight by then (even if I have to resort to cutting some of it off) I will feel that I should have lost more, and the nutritionist will think that Im doing great. I think most of us have been fat for so long that we want to be skinny yesterday and thats just not how it works, unfortunately. Also I have noticed that for whatever reason my body likes to be around 295 lbs. Its not my preference, but I always get stuck right around this weight for a point when I am losing weight. It doesnt matter if I exercise, It doesnt matter if I eat 200 calories a day, I just get stuck, but eventually, if I dont give up, I get past it. You will too, and 6 mths from now youll be down 300 lbs and we wont be able to get you to stop posting risque photos

Hi everyone! There may already be a thread or 2 about this, but figured couldn't hurt to throw in a suggestion/review again. I am officially obsessed with powdered Peanut Butter. I highly recommend it to any other former peanut butter junkies (like myself), or newbies (also like myself) who are looking to change up their boring old Protein Shakes. It's made the last week of my 3 liquid diet much more enjoyable! Have a good night everyone!

Hi! I was sleeved August 15 and am feeling great! I promise, 4-5 days makes SUCH a difference! I feel like myself again, and was even able to go on a trail hike this morning. As far as Protein, I am obsessed with Isopure's chocolate flavor. It doesn't leave a nasty aftertaste and is smooth to get down.
Waiting to feel better was definitely the hardest part for me. Despite my size I still managed to be somewhat active so being completely sidelined really threw me for a loop. But everyday I felt a little bit better!
You sound like you're doing great though! Keep up the good work!
