Glad your doing better. i bet that band is a 10 cm band but I 'm not possitive on that either. Hope you continue to improve. Sounds like you have a great family with lots of support!

Welcome to band land. you are sure lucky they would do both procedures at once. I wish they could of done mine in one surgery. hope your recovery gets better with each day. Take care of your self and keep us posted!

I'm like Pat. I only will have to do liquids the day before and Two weeks after. sorry I'm no help either. Just try to concentrate on what your having this surgery for and that is to lose weight and be healthy . It will be a hard road that will improve with time.

The Hollywood juice diet. You know the drink the juice loose 10 pounds in 2 days skeem? I lost 3 pounds and then was starving . I think I ate 4 days straight everything and any thing I could get a hold of and gained 5! UHHH!

Vines Queen~~ I would just wait and see if you get any gas. I have been very suprised that with my Gallbladder surgery gas hasn't been much of an issue. I know everyone is different and the band surgery is a little different than gallbladder but I would think the gas pain is about the same. I bought Gas X chewable tabs took 1 yesterday burped really big and have been fine since. I would take no meds before surgery unless your surgeon knows about it first. They are very through about asking what you ate drink and what meds you took before surgery.

Kathy~ Please do not take your Phentermine without cosulting with your band surgeon. My PCP tried giving me some back in Oct when I first went to talk to her about the band. I told my Surgeons office this was perscribed to me and they said not to take them because it takes a long while to get diet meds out of your system and they would have to be sure I had been off them at least 30 days before he would do my band. So I never took them.If you take them and then do your lab work they will show up that you are taking an imfetamine which could alter pre op test results. I 'm just giving you advice to ask your band surgeon before taking these. It may delay you getting your band.

Alex~ I found LMT when I was doing a Google search. There for I see your point that if you can't search ,then new people won't find us. I'm glad I found LBT and it has helped me more than any other site. Yes we are intitled to privacy ,but I think this is a very public place and you must be careful what you write.
