  1. I've learned long ago "if you can't handle the answer, don't ask the question". I'll only ask my kids that question. Everyone eles will either lie and say no, or thet'll have that " I'm so sorry for you" look in their eyes. Plus I don't ask "do I look fat" I ask "do I look nice". And I hate that twix commercial! I think it's kinda insulting. First of all she's not fat. she just has a big ol' booty. Nothing wrong with that.
  2. Paula, I know what you mean. Mother will come to my house and use my purfume. Like I really want my DH thinking of my Mother when he smells me. YUCK! RL..Romance I like it so so Nina Ricci I use to love Paloma Picaso when I lived in NJ, it was a nice winter pufume
  3. It's just a little bit about "why" Protein is so helpful in lossing weight. It's a good reference for someone who's new, too. Protein comes from the Greek word meaning "primary." You need protein to build absolutely every structure in your body -- from fingernails to enzymes to hormones to bones to muscles to neurotransmitters like serotonin. Without protein, dear reader, you would die. (The same cannot be said of dietary carbohydrates, but that’s another story.) But why is protein so great for weight loss? There are a several reasons. First of all, protein is far more satiating (filling) than carbohydrates. For many people, carbs just stimulate hunger rather than satisfy it. That’s why it’s much easier to eat six bowls of Cereal while watching Friends reruns than it is to eat six steaks. Several studies have shown that eating a higher protein Breakfast results in Fiber and green leafy vegetables to balance the protein. They are also getting their protein from inferior sources like processed deli lunch meats, fast food restaurants and factory farmed animals with high amounts of hormones, steroids and antibiotics. I think it’s critically important to get the best quality meats and fish you can buy -- go organic if possible, and look for "free range" or "antibiotic free" on the label. I have links to companies that produce these high-quality organic meats and toxin-free fish on my website (eggs and poultry from reputable sources and fish free of PCBs and mercury are rarely a problem when balanced with tons of fibrous vegetables, some low-sugar fruits and healthful fats like coconut, flaxseed, olive and macadamia nut oils. Protein at the center of every meal can be one of your best allies in the fight against unwanted pounds
  4. Does anyone know what the watts are? Theres one at Wal-Mart thats a little simpler and costs less. I already have enough gadgets and gizmos, that I don't use.
  5. O.K. I looked into it more and the prices are the DOCTORS price and the hospital fee is like 15,000.
  6. I'm not sure if I'm reading this right.........I must be wrong. Click on this site and go to Insurences. Does it say how much a self-pay would be? It has these prices, but they seem sooo low. And read what they say about different types of insurers such ie. PPO,HMO, Medicare. http://www.surgicalweightcontrol.com/insurances.html Thanks
  7. I would LOVE to be on Amazing Race... Anything that made me over..........Trading Spouses...........Wife Swap.........just about anything "cause yes my life IS that boring. No way to Surviver....I'm the worst lier.

  11. This all good to hear. I thought those refied beans would just slide on throught. With all the beans I'll be eating it's a good thing I not getting one of those other surgeries. I read, they make you extra extra gassy. Thanks all, I'm taking lot of mental notes.
  12. Thanks Jenna, I'll check that out. I'll check out Sam's,too. I don't remember seeing that stuff there, but I'll look. Class 5 Noveau Vegetarian ?? I try not to eat anything that cries out from pain. It just makes me sad...:-(
  13. I do eat fish, I'm just worried about being limited. And wondered what others have eaten that's similar to what I eat. I wasn't sure how many people(meat eaters) would bother w/ soy burgers, when they could have the real thing. Thanks, Marie for being brave and trying "meatless" burgers, and they are really good. My kids love them. the chick nuggets, too.
  14. O.K. I know you shouldn't eat potato chips because their junk and they don't sit. The things I eat are rice and beans, veggies and tofu based products and I was just wondering if how long they'll sit or will I end up being hungry all day.
  15. There's a formula for how much protien you should have a day. Ideal weight divided 2.2 x 1.25 For me It ended up to 74.2, wow. I don't how it actually works, but years ago I did a high protien and complex carb diet w/ exercise and it was the first time I loss A LOT of weight. This formula is from.....www.bariatriceating.com. what do think you think??
  16. I heard your saliva starts the break down of foods. Like a potato chip melts in your mouth, so it will go staight down the bottom of your stomach. I also heard tofu is broken down very easily. Is that true???? I don't eat beef or poulty or pig. And I'm worried about having a "hard" Protein that'll "sit" in the pouch. Does anyone have some ideas for me?
  17. Very helpful post. Thanks for putting it out there, Leo.
  18. Your fears are getting the best of you. What worries you? Whats on the other side after you at your goal? Once you get to your goal, your going to be held accountable. Thats my fear, if I loss all the weight I want, then I'm going to be expected to do "this" or "that". I have a very personal fear, and it scares me. I'll loss all the excuses that go on in my head. I didn't mean for this to be about me but alot of us have similar feelings.
  19. I do the fries and frosty thing, too. Now my DD friends do it,too. Is tuna on those fried pork rinds, gross? Bon-Ton potato chips on a portugese roll? When I was little my Mom made chopped bologna and dill pickles sandwiches.

You usaully have clearer head about things the next day. Is your ex blind? Were your co-workers blind? They don't know your heavy?? They will be to busy talking about how "they"worked with you "they" know you. Go for it! Your so pretty and I bet your real out going. Thats what there looking for. And if you don't get picked, you have the band. Go with your gut. Be crazy, you only live once.
