Nite time is the WORST! So I try not to have to much snaky stuff around. And not finishing something, like a sub sandwich, before I would eat a whole 12inch sub, now I can only eat a half of a half. If I go slow the whole half sometimes. Being full on a small portion(normal) is weird. I still guzzle Water between meals, no problems.

Monday, 30th B= oatmeal and eggbeaters(yawn) L= mushroom Soup and garden burger D= half of half sub sandwich and salad

Kim....lima beans and fried mushrooms???? Odd combo....

TGIF!!!!! Friday...27th B=Same old eggbeaters and oatmeal...starting to get a little boring, but it's easy... L= D= since Jan 17th I'm down 7lbs! WOW I'm getting scared the lossing will stop....Please don't stop!!! I'm honestly trying this time!

Thurs...26th B= eggbeaters and oatmeal.... L= flounder and cucumber and spagetti salad mixed w/ ginger soy salad dressing"low-fat" D=pizza

Wed...25th B= refried Beans w/salsa & lil' cheese...eggbeaters"southwest style"w/lil' cheese Very good Breakfast...I was stuffed! L= Campbells-"select,gold label" red pepper&blackbean Soup...one "spicyblack bean" veggie burger. Very good, i must say... D=1 crab cake and 1 salmon cake, green salad, asparugus....O.K., but not great.

I've been banded for almost a year and have only lost 10lbs, but I think things are turning around. Sorry I don't really know much about the test, it's just a "metabolism test". I have alot of muscle so my metabolism is high. Your so active, I bet you have alot of muscle too. So far since Jan 18th I've lost :clap2: 3lbs !!! If you can some in fo on Diabete eating thats just what it is.....

Hi Vines, I know how you feel......:cry I've lost a whoopping 10lbs since 4/05:mad: I know I eat half of what I ate before band, so whats up, right? My Doc had me visit the nutritionlist today and she gave me this breathing test.....for 10mins you breath in this tube. And it figures out how many calories you burn sitting on your butt. For me it was !3000 cals:faint: all this time i've been eatting about 1000. She set up a plan for me, 1545 cals for a 3lb loss each week.:hungry: I'm starting it tomorrow. Maybe you should look into it...... Good Luck with upping your cals....

I went to de la Garza and thought he was great, and the OCA was really nice, too. Everyone was very friendly. When I woke up after surgery i didn't even believe i had any thing done i felt so great. Nina is so great and so sweet. I walked around Monterry with my DH, we went to a comtempory arts museam(sp?). Went to a park, a really BIG park. It was really nice. They have this really big fountian of Neptune and a bunch of little Water creatures. Very cool. I think you'll really like. The OCA is more like a hotel than a hospital. If you have any more ??'s just ask.

How about this one.....everyone gets a small index card about 4x4 and a pencil, you put the card on your head and you draw a penis, whos ever looks the best wins... Tina

I recently had a fill by Dr. Kenneth Larson in the W.Palm Beach area and thought he was good and his price was decent too. I put his info here on another thread. Do a search... Is Dr.Cohen a Bariatric Surgeon? Maybe he's a regular Dr and will do fills for people.? Someone eles did go to him and I pm her but she hasn't responed. Cleveland Clinic charges 650.00 and I just called them a couple of weeks ago.

I was a self-pay, and had my surgery done by Dr. De La Garza in Monterry, MX. I think he did a fantastic job! I had hardly any discomfort. After recovery, I felt like I didn;t even have surgery. Do your research and go with who you feel if is right. Good luck...

It's so hard for me to think of myself as anything other than fat. Thanks for posting your victory, it really gives me something to hang on to and look forward to. Congrats on on your success!!

I followed the stages of eating but it's been 3 months and i'm hungry This Dr,Larson is located in Lake Worth not Baca Raton and it's about half an hour from me , I'm in Ft.Lauderdale. Mariposa.....I didn;t think of all those ??'s Thanks, I'll be sure to ask, and report back.

It'll be my first fill, haven't lost a lb since being banded. Can't wait to see that scale MOVE!

Dallasdoll, I have the same problem, except I don't have a fill yet. I can eat anything....and the longer I chew and the slower I go the more i can eat. I am eatting less than before being banded, so thats good. And thats also because I'm not letting myself. it's only been 4 weeks but i could really use a fill. Worst of all everyone is expecting me to have lost weight. And only two lbs gone. whoopee :-( I don't want to "diet" either, I just thought I was going to eat "less" than before and loss weight. I haven;t been eatting junk either. But i'm not giving up..................

I'm 6 days old and felt good after and I went shopping and sight seeing the next day, too. I can even sleep on both sides. My only complaints are...endless gas bubbles, coming out the attic and basement, my lungs feel weak, and now diarrhea. other than that I feel great!! I bet you will, too.

Please don't hurt me!!! LOL Just Dr's personal perference.....

Size 9.75 , Inamed, Dr said he's never had to put anything higher in a women and only puts the larger bands on men who are over 400lbs. I don't know why just what he said.....

Thanks all.... I'm going out to pick up a scale today. Nope didn't have one of those either. Complete and utter denial! With mirrors and scales challenging me daily. I'll have no choice but to face the "The Fat Monster"!! And I shall give him the fight of his life!!!
