  1. It's just a part of being human. I do the same things to myself, We know ourselves better than anyone and it takes time to be happy with ourselves. Just try and remember all your positive accomplishments and not let the fact that a few numbers on a scale ruin your entire weight loss journey. A 110 lbs is not easy to lose at all. Your doing great, and looking good just go easy on yourself (:

  2. I think you and the hubby may want to get him the surgery as well because his lifestyle is in need and if you both are on the same page I think things will get better. It is only natural for him to feel down during these good times after all his health is important as well. Not much you will be able to do for him but be supportive and listen when things get rough.

  3. Yes you can do this if its really what you want for yourself. The only person you have to convince is yourself. People are always going to talk about you good or bad, you just have to be able to bounce back. I can personally tell you as a man I felt at first that I may not need the surgery because I have lost weight so many times before, that I may not need a surgery but each time I dieted I failed only to gain more weight than the last time. Food was my best friend as well I was always eating no matter what, I'm an emotional eater 100% It didn't take me long to make my decision because I was just tired of eating poorly. I was tired of feeling like crap all the time, my belly was hanging like a Christmas ornament, and all my blood work was not good. Along with the mental depression of just being overweight and my clothes were always big as sheets, made me understand that if I want to enjoy life I have to change the way I live period. My wife was in the same boat as me of course so we decided that we would have the sleeve surgery. Sure there are days that I just don't feel like I have made progress and there are days that I feel like no matter how much weight I have lost that I'm still that 316 pound man that is almost out of breath every time I walk up the stairs. I have tons of more energy I'm feeling great I still eat food that I like, and I have the occasional drink or two. I don't have any physical pain, and the weight is still coming off. I'm getting compliments from my coworkers all the time,so it makes me feel good for a change and I love it.

  4. 10 pounds in less than a month is good. Your body is just hanging on to the fat and it won't let it go,mine is doing the same thing. I have lost a pound within the last 2 weeks so don't feel bad. My body thinks its starving and has shut down the weight loss until it feels adjusted. Several years of bad habits just won't let my body accept the new me yet.

  5. Awesome, you look good and feel good, that's what its all about. I feel the same way about my loss when people compliment me about my progress so far. Looking forward to getting to my goal weight of 200lbs ....... Keep up the good work and hit the gym hard if you can.
