  1. No. regrets here. I am 25 days out from surgery. I feel great and am so happy. I wish I would have done this years ago. I have lost 21 pounds. I am finally confident that I will lose this weight and my addiction to food is gone!
  2. As someone who had their gallbladder and sleeve done at the same time, I will tell you it gets better every day. At 2 and a half weeks I felt completely normal like I didn't have surgery. I was a complete mess the first week. I am now 3 and a half weeks and down 21 pounds, very happy!! Stay positive!
  3. I had bad itching too. Using a body scrub in the shower with a wash cloth then cover yourself in cocoa butter or body butter after. Helped alot!
  4. Wow you look fabulous! This is inspiring! Glad to hear you are happy about your decision! I had Surgery 3 weeks ago with 246 as my surgery weight. I hope I can do the same. Did you work out alot?
  5. I am stalled for two weeks too! Ugh
  6. I am eating 500-600 calories a day. Hitting between 50-60 grams of protein a day. Eating greek yogurt, an occasional egg, soups, low sodium turkey breast, tuna, jello, protein shake. I drink as much water and no calorie liquids as I can get in. I know I am eating a small fraction of what I used to eat so why am I not losing weight. I'm happy to have lost 20 pounds, but the no movement on the scale in about two weeks is driving me crazy.
  7. Anything special you are doing? You have done a great job. I lost 20 since my surgery 07/29 but the scale hasn't moved in 12 days. Frustrated ;(
  8. Sleeved 7/29 SW 246 CW 226 I have been in a stall for over a week switching to soft foods has slowed my loss. I have only been able to get about 55 grams Protein. My clothes are alot looser. I have been adding exercise slowly. Today I played Xbox Kinect games with my daughter for an hour, lots of jumping and my heart was racing so that must be good! It was fun too!
  9. Your arms looks great and you look so young! Great job!
  10. I am 20 days post op and just took a nap on my tummy for the first time. So much better! I had a hard time the first two weeks because I couldn't even lay on my side. It gets better!!
  11. Me too! Sleeved 07/29 and down 20 pounds since surgery! Go us! SW 246 CW 226 Height 5'4
  12. Your face looks totally different!
  13. Hi and congrats! I was sleeved on 07/29. I just started with scrambled eggs last Saturday. I think I'm going to try egg salad, chicken salad, maybe some liver wurst (sounds gross but I love it). I had some mashed broccoli and tilapia last night but the fish was still a little too dense for me. I had made chicken in mushroom Soup in the crock pot on Sunday, the chicken was very moist and I ground it up with my fork before I ate it. Still trying things out myself. Good luck on your weight loss! I am down 19 pounds as of a few days ago. I'm trying not to weigh everyday because I will definitely get OCD with it. Keep in touch! I could use a sleeve buddy!
  14. Wow you look great! I have about the same beginning weight and goal but am 2 weeks post op. I hope I can do as well as you have!! Great job!
  15. I watched alot of videos on YouTube preop. I even watched the surgery itself. I just can't handle the long winded videos when people go on and on about nothing. I like this forum because you can search for your specific interest.
  16. I'm newly sleeved and have started experimenting because I need to cook for my family and find something I can eat as well. I work full time so I also need things quick and easy. Last night I used the crock pot. I put two chicken breast cut up in small pieces, a large can of progressive mushroom soup, a cup of water, a cup of rice, added some seasonings, put it on high for 3 hours and presto! an easy meal for everyone! I love my crock pot. It helps keep meats moist which is good for the sleeve.
  17. Yeah last night it was hard to sleep because of the itching. It's all over, not at my incisions. I have no redness or swelling. The peeling was the weirdest part, it's fine now just itchy.
  18. So I'm 13 days post op. I haven't had any of the thrush or bad breath that I have been reading about. However, today during my walk I got very itchy. I came home to take a shower and it was like the whole top layer of my skin came off, from everywhere. I had to use a loofa to get it all off. I felt like a snake shedding its skin. I do have generally dry skin but never have had this happen before. Anyone else have this happen?? So weird
  19. Wow your pictures are probably the most amazing before and after! Awesome!!! You look so young! Did you have alot of plastic surgery? All I can say is wow!!
