  2. Oh good. I am glad it was easy for you. I am looking forward to feeling normal again. I am sick of this thing hanging off me. LOL
  3. Wow. I'm a week out as well and I take take a few large sips which I thought was alot. Do you take a sip every minute or so or is it easier than that?
  4. I was sleeved on July 29th. I have lost 12 lbs as of yesterday. I am taking a mulitvitamin, b12 sublingual, iron and calcium. Today is the first day I have ventured out and cooked a meal for my family. I am exhausted. I have a drain and can't wait to get it removed on Thursday. I am between 400-600 calories a day. I am using myfitnesspal app to track everything. Feeling better everyday but not back to my old self yet. I have to go back to work next week.
  5. Glad your doing well. How was the drain removal? I have to wait until Thursday to get mine removed. Feeling better everyday!
  6. Hi girls! I was just sleeved on 07/29. I post alot on here but haven't really had any follow through with anyone. I am feeling well and am excited for the future!! Down 11 pounds! Woo hoo!
  7. Hi guys. I was sleeved on July 29th. I am still sore but getting in protein and fluids in more and more each day. I really haven't been able to get out of the house yet. I have next week off so I am hoping I start to feel better soon. My abdomen is very sore and it hurts to get around. I don't know if Its because I had my gallbladder removed as well? Good luck to us all! Has anyone weighed themselves yet? I am down 11 pounds!
  8. Just wondering because I have read so many different things. I thought you need to be at goal for a certain amount of time to let your body settle before getting into plastic surgery. Just interested on everyone's experience and thoughts!
  9. I am 6 days out and 11 pounds down! I have another week until info back to work so I am praying I start feeling like normal soon. I am doing well and grateful everyday that I was able to have this done! Good luck everyone!
  10. I always get blurred vision with a urinary tract infection, no other symptoms though
  11. This has been interesting reading. So I will add mine. I have been on a diet since I can remember. Developed early and have been the same height since I was 12. I was between 150-175 in high school but my weight is distributed evenly and very curvy. Never made fun of for being fat. Got married at 18, baby at 20. I have never been under 200 since I had my son. In my 20s, I fluctuated but stayed around 220. I have yo-yo'd up and down since then. Now I am 33, and have been around 245 for the past two years. Gained weight while dieting and have had enough. I have not been able to participate fully in life and feel my weight is holding me back in a major way. I am so excited about the next year. I was sleeved 6 days ago and doing well. I have already lost 10 pounds! Which seemed impossible before!!!!!
  12. Really? I was told I have to take a multivitamin, calcium with d3, iron and B12 everyday for the rest of my life. I would say at minimal to look into the B12 if you feel tired, it gives me alot of energy and is easy to take.
  13. Are you getting all your protein in? My surgeon said meeting your protein goals is the first and foremost important thing in maintaining your hair.
  14. I think it's normal to feel like crap for the first week or two. My surgeons nurse called me today and stressed the importance of getting as much protein in and fluids. It's ok if you don't hit your goal but must try to get as much in as possible. She also said to make sure I'm taking all my vitamins. I think getting this drain out will be my turning point next week, I hate it!
  15. Wow. I can't imagine leaving the next day, I was a mess. Why so long until you see you doc? I guess everyone's situation is different. I see my doctor next week. How are you feeling?
  16. How are you doing? I had surgery the same day and came home yesterday. I am doing ok. Slow but steady.
  17. How is everyone today? I am 4 days out and doing okay. Still have a drain and came home yesterday.
