gained a few lbs during 6 months of monitored visits
Well it depends if your doctor or insurance required you to lose. If not then you should be fine.

UPDATE!
Great job! What's your hight?

Nose piercing and no jewelry during surgery!
Ugh...well I was thinking of getting another Monroe...I've had my current Monroe for a little over a year but my scare tissue has finally gone away...I also hate hate hate taking it out and putting it back in =.= thanks for posting this cause that was news to me. Also cartilage piercings don't close as fast as tissue piercings I think oral is the the quickest to close so you will be fine!

Oh wow a 5 year obese history? That's ridiculous ! I don't think my insurance has that long of a history check but 5 years ago I was 16 lol I'm pretty sure I was still obese but that is ridiculous

Anyone in Oregon ?
My insurance requires me to be refered by my doctor before I start anything and I won't be able to see her till the 25th so hopefully she gives me the ok. I know I'll be required to do the 6 month diet. But usually it is the doctor who tell you to lose a % of the your weight due to a fatty liver or to make it easier for your surgeon. From what I have read that is.

6 Month Supervision
what documentaries did you watch?
-
6 Month Supervision
You don't have to lose weight unless the doctor tells you to lose a% of your fat cause of your liver or if they believe it will make the surgery easier. It's best to try though

Flabby hams for upper arms
my insurance covere it but you have to be pretty bad to where its cause health issues, rashes ect this is by asking a few who have my insurance so I'm not 100% but I'm super scared as well. I'd never be able to save up for it and if I tried it could take years...sucks

Was it hard for you to
Imagine eating so little? I'm still pre op but I'm laying here looking through the sleeved diets and seeing what people are eating and how much of and I'm like TWO slices of turkey?!?! I can eat 5 slices of pizza when I'm hungry lol I usually only eat 1 big meal a day but man can I eat..I can eat as much as my bf and he is 6'3" 330 pounds big guy...it's embarrassing that I can eat that much. So it's pretty hard to see my self eating so little. I see lots of throwing up in the future if I'm approved lol

Anyone have Cigna
I don't have Cigna but I know a lot of insurances won't cover unless the skin is causing problems like rashes
-
Pre-op diet...
Sometimes it's the doctors who ask you to do this if your liver is fat. But I have seen dates pushed cause they did not lose enough.

Does surgery really make you feel full?

Does surgery really make you feel full?
I am the same way as you! Mostly because I am nocturnal but I don't eat Breakfast or lunch and I eat a huge dinner and then snack or sometimes eat another meal at night. I'm not a sweets person either or in love with soda. I don't have it in the house and ill get it when we go out but for the most part I drink tea....so I guess measuring my food will suck cause I'm not good at measuring lol I always just wing it but ill go but some oz containers and a food scale

over 300lbs?
its good for people to know the struggles this surgery brings in my opinion at least. Really ur supposed to stay away from bread, pasta and rice. I tried putting ham and turkey in a lettuce wrap...it wasn't too bad..not better than bread but its doable. I feel you though...you really should try adding different stuff to your shakes and switch between vanilla and chocolate. I add a tiny bit of banana to chocolate when I get sick of plain chocolate..

over 300lbs?
I'm pre op but I fear what you're going through...I hate Greek yogurt but I like yo play lol and I won't eat salad without dressing..it's going to be a hard adjustment but you have to remember that tasty delicious bad food is why we are all here. Is it really worth having health issues and kicking the bucket over? From what I see it takes a few months to get in the habit of eating healthy cause you have trained your brain to love unhealthy. Also have you tried premier shakes? I actually crave the chocolate some times..you can add fruit to your shakes or peanut butter to help them not taste bleh I hope it gets easier for you!

Does surgery really make you feel full?
I am pre op and I have a extremely hard time knowing when to stop eating and portions are my down fall on diets. I see some people say they don't get that full feeling so it makes me worried
