Long story short I was having such bad gas pain that I couldnt breath. Went to the er and bought myself an overnight. So frustrated I dont know what I did wrong. I was told that they see a spot on my catscan that they want to look at. So antibiotics and a dye test in the morning. Kinda nervous because I never have a fever and today I did. I keep thinking I made a mistake and what if this is some kind of infection and itt doesn't end well? Anyone else have a similar complication?

Should be going home later today. They saw something on the CT Scan that they explained as "postoperative swelling" it was explained that sometimes lymphnodes get inflammed and that its going to pass. Thanks for all the well wishes.

@ franc I'm so glad it was not as bad u thought, continue to follow ur diet plan given to u and remember rest ur body when it tells u too. Be encouraged. :-)

Feeling 100 times better. Stayed the night in the hospital but was met in the er by three surgeons that work with the dr I use. Very reassuring. Minimal gas pain now got down a 11oz protein shake before class. Drank about 16oz crystal light lemonade and a healthy choice fudge bar after class. Didnt feel full but not hungry either. This is day 6 of post op
