Hello everybody; its been a long time. I have a question. Back in April, I was going in to do a tt (didn't do the tt!!) so i had gotten .5 cc to take out!! i had my ugi also and was told that i was too tight. ( i promise you guys i didn't feel i was tight) dr. took out all fill!! about a month later, started putting back fill, i am now at 10cc's. don't feel any restrictions and now my stomach is bulging making me look pregnant. what's the deal with that? Please, please i need responses!!!:rolleyes2:

Hello Everybody; Its been a while since being on here. I have a question. I had gotten the saline taken out of the port about 3 weeks ago. I immediately gained 20 lbs. It was gas and I was too bloated. :tt2: Last week my surgeon put only 8cc's in my 10cc. (by the way, I am making him put back every ounce of saline) and I am still bloated and have gas. :biggrin: Whats the deal with that? Anybody is there anything I can do. I've tried gas-x and other methods

hey swellshell; well my dr. says that we will have gas for the rest of our lives (smile) i am 3 years out and sometimes I do experience it. But you know what i've figured out as well, some foods i can't eat any longer and maybe that is a factor to some of the problems. my opinion

question? how long do you guys feel unrestriction? for a week, couple of days? Knowing that all bodies are different, like i said when we lay down and when we get up, makes a big difference

hi davsil; our bodies shifts, so i am assuming that saline will probably settle soon. 3 days ago, i could eat a lil sumthing. yesterday, a no go, today, had oatmeal, but now i can't eat until much later. how many fills have you had? But I am 3 years out and I am at the 10cc

Ohm; thats a good observation. I don't do the protein shakes my self. I try to get those other protein foods in. eggs, turkey, fish, etc. and also like your doctor stated, we should be exercising. but every bodies are totally different. What works for one, sure doesn't work for the other. How ever its gonna work, roll on!!!

Omg, everybody. This was the best decisions that I made almost 3 yrs ago. It will be june 9th. I've reached my goal, at the top of the 10cc's and preparing for my tt on april 26th. wooo hooo!!!!:thumbup: For the ones that is preparing this journey, or the ones that just got it done and the ones who is on the journey; just let it ride, make sure you take care of yourself and the weight will come off!!!

Hello Cure; First off, congrats on your journey!!! Secondly, I don't know which ones you've seen but there are quite a few ppl out here that have lost weight quickly. Since the band is only a tool, there are many things you have to do in order to lose the weight and then maintain. Exercise!!!! Whew, I'm telling you, I would probably be one of those ppl you saw on the site saying that they only lost 30lbs in a year. Its very important!!!! Well in my opinion it is and will be my life style until i leave this earth.

Hi Dow, girl just get the hershey with almonds. I do!!! and believe me, it doesn't stay down. Wow!!! I thought since it was soft but it doesn't hold, but it does take that craving away. I don't how much enjoyment you will get, cause every bodies are different. and since you are so craving it, don't deprieve yourself of it. I am almost 3 years out and my 10 cc band is full and i still some foods can't hold.

we3601, oh no!!!! girl call those people and get unfilled. That is not how it supposed to be!!!! when you can't even drink water, then its too tight for you.

Hi Diamondgirl; i am almost 3 yrs out in june. and let me tell you, i can't eat banannas at all. my body just won't take it. so that means you will probably have to find potassium some place else. I've learned that the foods that we used to eat umph!!! (smile) your band won't be able to take it!!! Way to go girl on your journey

Hi, Well for me its my tummy!!!! That extra skin from pregancy and c-section has left that oooooooooo yucky!!! (smile) They say to do crunches but that is for the muscles not that skin

wearing you down I know!!!

I've had mines for about 2 1/2 years. no problems what so eva!!!! I love it, it was the best decision I made and along with exercise!!!! Man I done hit the jackpot!!!!
