The hospital supplied me with a pill cutter. That would be the best thing to do. I don't know how it feels, but I've heard people who've tried it and about died swallowing those horse pills.

its instant with me and I haven't gotten my fill in about 2 months. it feels like something is stuck in your throat. it will come back up.

chickie-although i hated to hear your response, its so true. okay so what about the people on the biggest loser they all have more sagging skin that i have and now it looks pretty toned to me!!

Dave01-I hear ya on the fill. I called last week and asked if I can come in and get a fill on tuesdays (that's when my doc. does them) she was like he has surgery, they close during the christmas holiday, blah, blah, blah, blah. yes, i think u r right about a support group lolololol

Yes the gas and gurling sounds will last for the rest of your life. I asked my dr. that question and he confirmed, unless someone out there says differently.

losingjusme-you will have to get a full tummy tuck!!. some insurance companies will pay for the panni,(that fat at the bottom) but you still have the top area to deal with. might as well get the full one.

sunshine2-I too have a 4.0 cc. the last time was back in september and he only put in 1 cc. i asked him if there the saline leaks slowly, he said yes. i had been getting fills every month for about 2 months. i also asked him about the restrictions? of course he said that everybody is different. he has me drink water to see if there is restrictions. i am like you, i find that i can feel restrictions a week later.

you know i wanted to see if someone had more than 6 fills before restrictions. and i found you sunshine2. I am going for my 5th fill on the 8th of january. I was wondering how many fills can we take before we get to our goal weight?

Hey baydaz, why did u have to wait almost 3 months to get your 1st fill? was it doctor ordered? i'm sorry that you haven't had the good effects of the band to losing weight. remember that its only a tool. i hope you reconsider, it is a good tool though!!!

same here. when i went for the consultation, he weighed my, etc. and although i knew that i wanted the lap band, he also thought it was best. he does do both surgeries though

Yes, I agree with you rharriet. my surgeon only does fills on tuesdays. i've called a couple of days before my fills and i get right in. i'm sorry to hear that most you guys do not have your surgeon doing the fills. it sounds so frustrating.

well guys, i have to admit that i always thought i had it going on when i was bigger. and those black circles around your eyes, it seems to show more when i was larger. now that i am down in weight and getting closer to 40, i am more than ever taking care of myself!!!

I was banded in June. there was so much going on before surgery that I had to tell my daughter. she is 10 years old and she was really happy. since i am a single mother, we stayed with a friend for the night and the for the next week, my daughter helped out with anything i needed.
