  1. Ive been away from this board for some time.... I had the surgery in 2007 and have lost 110 lbs. Its slowly but sure coming off these day before: after...still in progress:
  2. BEFORE Close to 300lbs Dec 07 AFTER Down 85lbs Thanksgiving 2008
  3. Thanks guys. Luckily, Im feeling much better. No more throwing up and Ive been able to eat so I hope its over.
  4. just wondering if anyones insurance covered their plastic surgery?
  5. Ive been throwing up for hours and have diarrhea. The vomiting is sooooooo painful-I hate this. My stomach is so sore I feel like ive done 2 million crunches. What can a lap banded patient take for nausea? IS pepto ok?
  6. Thanks guys!!!! Im pumped up about it now. And sooooooooo ready to go workout!!!!
  7. I ve lost quiet a bit of weight but still not at goal but.... Im gonna get an unfill for a little while. I plan to still go to the gym and watch what I eat. I just cant get most food down. Even if I chew, chew, chew and drink hot liquids first thing. Id say that the majority of the week, I eat about 3 meals and Im totally not getting the protein I need. I HATE protein shakes. I want food!!!!!!! Not even bad food, chicken breast or salad would be great!!!!!!!!! I havent lost weight in 2 months. The last 2 fills I had, I had to get deflated some before leaving the office cause it was too tight. Im pretty miserable! What is your thoughts?:smile2::thumbup::tt2:
  8. i tested 2 days ago and got..... bfn. not even a second faint line.
  9. i drink a little if i can tolerate it. sometimes, it jst doesnt want to work. it kinda makes the food float and feel uncomfortable but others its ok. My surgeon said a good rule is to get a cup of ice and what ever melts while you are eating, is ok to drink. It works for me.
  10. thanks guys. Im going to try and get a card that says im a banded patient. and I dont get my next fill until we get back so i should be good.:scared2:
  11. I'm about to fly for the first time ever and I was wondering if when I go through airport security, there are going to be problems with like the metal detectors. Im pretty sure I will beep or something but how do i let them know that im not a freakin terrorist or something. lol Has anyone flown with the band yet? Any problems I should expect?:scared2:
  12. i plan to test again today or tomorrow. I guess Im just conviced Im not and trying to go to the doc and get a blood test but its so hard to wait that long.
  13. I can only eat baby food-bananas. Im sooo hungry. I had my 3rd fill on the 17th and havent really been able to eat anything of substance since then. Baby food is going down most of the time and coffee but other than that-nodda. Ugh, I really dont want to take some out, do you think thats what I need to do or just wait it out. I feel fine, I mean no weakness or anything, just hungry. lol:drool::thumbup:
  14. thanks so much for your positive response. It has been very helpful. Still no AF. Cant wait until April 7th when I go to the gyno. Yyaya
