  2. Yep. My daughter (of normal weight) has sleep eating episodes, and unrelated to any medication. Always interesting to see what's been taken to the bedroom.

  6. 3500 calories equals 1 lb of fat. SO, this daily up and down is NOT fat. And I agree, DON'T weighself every day. One exception: IF you weighed daily as you were GETTING fat, it's OK to do the same as you lose!!!!!!

  9. Hang in there. Keep closly working with your endrocrinologist. All the research says that the sleeve can do GREAT things for DM.
  10. Your MD will decide based on you and his/her preferences. Both work fine. I had glue.

  16. see a lawyer before doing anything PERMANENT. That said, sucky job = stress = (for me) eating...
  17. First, welcome. Second explore the site, you'll find a lot of your issues there... sabotage, "I only lose", liquids, etc. Lastly, DO NOT be creative. Follow YOUR program. Be strict. And of course ask away!!!

  19. That'll help... Not WISHING that on you, but tis better to have loved (food) and lost, than never to have loved at all?

Common sleep apnea symptoms include: Waking up with a very sore or dry throat Loud snoring Occasionally waking up with a choking or gasping sensation Sleepiness or lack of energy during the day Sleepiness while driving Morning headaches Restless sleep Forgetfulness, mood changes, and a decreased interest in sex Recurrent awakenings or insomnia
  21. it'll look short from the other side. AND you can start to get your brain in control now!

Also, call the gym and explain your nervousness: (1) they can tell you the 'quieter' periods are while you get started and till you are used to being there, -- you might be surprised at their supportiveness... also (2) ask for a trainer to help teach you the machines. You'll want an appointment and you may need to pay extra (and you sure can tip). Knowledge is POWER.
