September 20

Hello everyone! I am new to this support group and just briefly tell you my story.

I am having surgery on September 20 in Burbank California. I began looking into the surgery this year and to my surprise was approved by my insurance. My heaviest wt was 311lbs and currently am 276lbs. I began my preop liquid diet and mentally preparing myself for the changes. My fam and friends are supportive, thankfully. I also am lucky to have a close friend who had her surgery last year ( she honestly convinced me because she is doing amazing! !)

I am excited to know that I am not alone in this journey. I look forward to reading the posts of this community!
