  2. Thanks for sharing, I too am 6 months out. my biggest hurdle is chips. Nevet ate them much before, but sure sit and eat a half bagg if I let myself. I noticed after my surgery i craved more salt than i ever had, so I have to be careful.
  3. OMG! You all are so funny:) Cant say I have ever done that, but if it makes the scale go down I'm all for it. Gotta check it out next bm

  5. premier is the best hands down.! Been drinking these since my Jan surgery. Tried about 20 others including ordering all kinds of samples, yeck! I order them on Amazon and I buy at Costco.
  6. Congrats! Wow I hope at 3 yrs I am still maintaining. I am only 6 months but I feel likes its been a couple of yrs already.
  7. I decided the same thing:) its weird, I weigh the same all week then on day seven, I'm a few pounds less. So definitely gonna try only weighing in once a week.
  8. Love the Victoria secrets bag in background:) You look really good. How much do you lose per week now?

I am 2 months post op, and I have the same thing going on. It's just that we can't eat like we used to. You will learn to listen to your stomach and towards the last bites it will say hey I'm full already. Don't feel like you have to finish something. I get the worst feeling when I take one bite to many and when I eat to fast, which I have yet to perfect at a slower pace. I usually will take my walk after dinner to help it digest.

I am 8 weeks post op. I bought the Kirkland brand multi grain flat rounds . I toasted it and made chicken salad, put a tomato slice and two slices of avocado It was the first sandwich I had since before surgery, ate 3/4 of it and it tasted damn good. No problems after:) I think the key is to toast it so its not doughy.

I have been hitting our local thrift stores, your right its not worth buying full priced clothes yet until were close to our goal. Hate to spend $50 bucks on a pair of jeans that are gonna be baggy in a month. plus the support group I go to has a clothes swap:)

It takes about a week, at least for me, before I felt like I could get a little more down. At this point just be sure you stay hydrated. That's the most important thing right after surgery. Try and drink a protein shake, I drink premier shakes from Costco. But you have to find one you like. Good luck and in a week or so you will be stronger and feeling much better:)

I have one protein shake five days a week. I eat eggs or yogurt for breakfast, tuna for lunch, and fish, chicken or ground turkey for dinner. And between I snack on baby bells or cheese sticks. It is hard to eat everything cause we fill up so quickly, and then you have to get all your water and liquids in. I hope it does get easier to eat somewhat of a regular meal, with veggies or a salad.
  14. Wow! Don't ya feel great. Keep on truckin, you'll be needing a new wardrobe soon:)
