  1. My hubby & I have gotten much closer since the surgery! He likes our new eating habits & is loosing weight too! You said she's upset cause she can't have surgery...is she heavy too? If so, why can't she?? Maybe that's the issue, I know if my hubby got it & I couldn't...I would be ticked!
  2. I love shopping in my closet & wearing stuff I haven't worn in years! But the BEST will be when even those are too big & I get to shop for real!! :-D
  3. I take the Atkins meals sometimes for work....their high in protein. I can eat 1/2 one day & the other the next.

  6. My kids are grown...but I do have grandchildren...who are on their way here now to enjoy some pool time with us!! At least I now have energy to keep up with them...at least for a little while!! :-)
  7. I still have cravings! Just have to work around it! The sleeve is a TOOL, not a cure!
  8. I was sleeved in Dec & lost about 50 lbs! May be slow....but it's 50 lbs I would never have lost without it! So as long as the scale is moving in the right direction...I am Happy!!

  11. Sleeved 12/17 & I was stuck on a rd trip Thursday & all there was around was a subway...so I got a ham & turkey sub & ate about 4-5 bites then was full! I had no problems! I actually ate a few more bites a few hrs later & was fine! I wouldn't make a habit of it though...like they ^^^ said....I was full with just that little & that wasn't much protein!
  12. I agree! I sure wish I was a fly on the wall in that conversation with his surgeon! Maybe it was him who wanted the band & didn't listen to their advice?? Who knows!
  13. I wore a dress today that I haven't been able to wear since a yr after I started my job....13 years ago!! :-)

  15. I eat out with friends often & no one knows I've had surgery...I feel absolutely normal! No one even bats an eye when I get a to go box! I eat slowly & am usually finished at the same time as they are & freq I'm not the only one getting a to go box!

  17. I got my sample pkg, & must admit...I'm Not too crazy about them! Don't like the "thickness "
  18. It will get better! I too had mine early one morning & was home by noon the next day...but I was fine, no trouble getting around. But I have had other surgeries & was sore...it gets a little better every day! Good luck on your new journey!
  19. I was sleeved 12/17 & only vomited once in the hospital when I first woke up, it was from the dye they put in to check for leaks.
