  3. Lol!! Correct! No I haven't lost 20 and kept it off. I'm trying to be patient. And realistic about my expectations. For the most part i like how I'm losing, it's coming off nicely. I guess because of how funky my clothes are fitting. I thought it would have been less. . Thank you.
  4. I lost 20 stinking pounds. It's going on 2 months. I don't know if I'm expecting too much or what! But I thought it would have been more. My others fit like crap. I can't really go buy anything new bc I don't want to have to keep doing that. What to do.
  5. ????????????????CONGRATULATIONS!!!????????????????
  6. Thank you. I understand the clothes fitting differently. Thank you again.
  7. I know it's still early. It's like the surgery never happened. Aside from slight discomfort from time to time, from the healing. It's like it didn't happen. I see slight changes in my body. I'm going to start my gym regime on Monday. Or Tuesday because of Memorial Day. I weighed myself and seen little loss. I see my body changing in some was. I'm terrified bc I'm not seeing the loss in pounds. I'm resourcing with my inlaws about what they've been through. And how long it took for them to see results. I'm on phase II of my diet. Soft foods. I've tried chicken can't do it. I may have to boil it. I've chewed the heck out of the chicken. Cottage cheese and peaches in the morning. Muscle milk for Protein. Water. Can't really tolerate anything else. I've tried low cal crystal light. Too sweet. And irritates my stomach. So. I've read about how everyone if different. I'm terrified, bc I feel like I'm doing things correctly. According to my food diary I'm a little under 800 cals per day. I'm trying to get at least 800-1000. Which isn't easy right now. Any info you can provide would be great. Thanks in advance. Victoria.

  10. I'm going through the same thing. My surgery was May 1. I want all of my old foods. Word of advice"Don't"! Just don't. Drink your water, soups and soft foods and the cravings will go away. Use the things you can eat. Popsicles. Jellol I'm so sick of jello. But the Popsicles really help, give you that sugar you're craving. Also the werthers candies. They are low in sugar like 8g. Be careful though, bc too many can cause you to vomit. I hope this helps. It's an adjustment for us all. The point is to retrain ourselves, so we don't return to the unhealthy life we are currently trying to get out of. Hugs.
  11. Thank you. And you're welcome. I just wanted to add, which I didn't in my initial post. My surgery date I weighed 228lb. My appt last tues, I weighed 220lb. I haven't weighed myself today. After this I will.
  12. I had a normal one. The day after my surgery. Ugh!

  14. Thank you all. My surgery was great. And as I said, other than the nausea. I felt great. I didn't use the pain meds at the hospital because I'd the pain, but because it put me to sleep despite the nausea. I feel great. The only thing. Is make sure you DRINK YOUR WATER!!! Otherwise you'll feel beyond tired. Hugs to you all!! Excited is the best word I can use to describe what I'm feeling.
