  1.    Finngirl11 reacted to a post in a topic: Wonton wrappers!
  2. Look up emilybites.com and go to her cupcake/muffin area and most everything is used with wonton wrappers. I love using them!

Don't you love when that happens! Congrats!
  4. I gain five pounds with my period, like clockwork. I try to get as much water in as I can but it's just my body. You are going through hormonal changes between the pill and the weight loss so I suspect your body will figure it out soon enough.
  5. Thinking of you and I hope you have a rapid recovery. I'm so sorry this happened :-(
  6. Well it depends on the restaurant. I don't go anywhere without looking at nutritional information online first. At Texas Roadhouse they have an oven roasted chicken and I get a side of unsweetened applesauce. I really can only eat the leg and a few bites of apple sauce so I bring it home. I also had their portabello mushroom chicken (very tender) but it comes in 8 oz so the calories/fat went down greatly with the portion you can actually eat. At Red Lobster I had the stuffed flounder with green beans but only ate about 1/2 of the fish it was so filling. So that's all I've had going out. I have done zero fast food aside from 1/2 of a small chili from Wendy's. Not sure it's very helpful, sorry.
  7. Looks like an old post but it's funny that it came back around. I was just telling my husband tonight that I have no desire to eat. It's not a lack of being hungry ... it's just not having a desire. I make myself have some protein drinks and try to get a meal/snack in a day but it's not pleasurable atm. I wasn't this way last week so don't know what changed.
  8. I understand your feelings. This preop diet is a true test when you are living with young kids and a husband that doesn't cook. Your concerns sound very normal to me. I'm already trying to find something else that will comfort me outside of food. I was told to stop drinking 15 mins prior and wait for 30 mins after. There is a fantastic book to read: The Experts Guide to WeightLoss Surgery by Garth Davis. I've read it about 3 times already.
