  1. I have pcos and before surgery, for the past 10 years or so, ive rarely gotten my period. Since surgery 4 months ago, im getting my period like clockwork every month. But, this is the first month that ive actually gained weight during it! Im really upset about the gain, 5 lbs in the last few days. I started taking birth control last week but was told it wouldnt make me gain, but im not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. I guess i just need reassurance that this is normal. I know women can be heavier during their period, but i didnt expect this after being sleeved.
  2. Jabberblocky - feel free to add me, i log every day :-)
  3.    Blessedfun reacted to a post in a topic: May sleevers results so far!
  4. Starting weight - 395 Surgery weight - 359 Current weight - 319 Sleeved May 7th! 76 pounds down since March, 40 since surgery!
  5. I was cleared at 2 weeks for regular exercise. Although i felt great otherwise, my first exercise was my old zumba class, and after 15 minutes i started feeling discomfort and slight pain, so i stopped. I did the elliptical after that and felt no pain or discomfort. I've always been very active, so i didn't think I'd have a problem with any exercises, especially since i had virtually no pain in my normal day-to-day. So, once you're cleared, just listen to your body. And good luck!
  6. I live in Port St Lucie and was sleeved on May 7. Also looking for support/friends in the area!
