  1. 1. Walking into a regular store and being able to fit what I like. 2. Being in my seat only on an airplane without an seat belt extension. 3. Being picked up by my boyfriend and carried. 4. Keeping up with my teenager. 5. Borrowing clothes from my daughter.
  2. I felt the same way but unfortunately the puree isn;t much better. I can't wait until I can progress. I stayed on full liquids for 2 weeks.
  3. I did not have a last meal. My surgery was on a Thursday and my MD did not require any specific diet prior to my surgery. They did request that you not have a large "last meal" the day before surgery.
  4. I will take your experience to heart. I had my procedure on 8/23 and have had all these cravings. Anything with grease will definitely not be on my list.

Looks like you are doing great. I wasn't a walker prior to surgery so I can't even do 1/2 mile but trying. I was told that gum wold also introduce air, not only be a problem if acidentally swallowed. Good luck!

I had my surgery 9 days ago. I was nervous as hell and afraid of dying the whole time I thought about having the surgery (I contemplate for 5 years). I am a single mother to a 16 year old girl. Well I am still alive and walking and talking. I am not really living with all this weight. My knees hurt, my ankles hurt. I am short of breath and that is what made up my mind. I was gonig to die early if I dont get rid of the weight. I was released from the hospital 24 hours post op and so far so good. Have faith!
