  4. I am also in the same boat as you are. I've only lost 30lbs in 6wks including a week of pre-op and getting depressed thinking I went thru all this for 30lbs. I had a low bmi as well so I know exactly how you feel.
  5. My experience with the Dr. has been amazing although my experience with the sleeve not so much. Well in my opinion anyway. I was expecting to lose more that 24 lbs within a month although if you read thru some of the other post that is in line with some other sleevers. If I was you I would also look into Washington Hospital Center. I've heard amazing things about their doctors and facilities.
  6. I've only lost 14 lbs since day of surgery and has been in a stall for two weeks. Oh I did lose 10lbs on my 1week liquid pre-op diet. So I've only lost 24lbs total and really frustrated. Thought I would lose more in the first month.
  7. Dr. Marc Rickford at Providence Hospital
  8. Mu surgery date was 8/29 as well. I am also a slow loser. I was 264 on the day of surgery and today I am 250.00. I was expecting to lose more than 14 lbs in one month but it's great to know I have some folks who can relate to my situation.

  11. 21 days after surgery and like a newbie can't figure out when its enough. Don't want to start any bad habits this early out.
  12. Hello All, new to the forum and just wanted to add my two cents. I live in DC and had my surgery in DC with Dr. Rickford at Providence Hospital on 8/29. They also have a support group that I will be arrending soon.

  14. I tested positive as well. They gave me the meds for two weeks prior to my surgery
  15. Surgery date 8/27 and lost 15lbs so far. I'm not getting back on the scale for awhile. I don't want to get frustrated
