I like Dr Phil and something he always says is "how's that workin for you?" So think about this. You say you don't need to log cuz you've dieted for X amount if years, but you feel like a failure, so how's that workin for you? Not everyone logs what they eat, for me it works but I don't think everyone has to do it. So if you're unhappy with results, try something new. At least it will give you an idea of how many calories you are eating, maybe it's not enuf or you're eating too many carbs, etc. keep workin on it, this is a lifetime change and you just need to find your "groove" so to speak. And honestly, I think you need a little more time to decide that you have failed at this surgery, you are still newly sleeved. Give it some time, you didn't gain all your weight in one month and you sure as heck are not going to lose it in one month either. Good luck!
  2. I had severe sleep apnea which they found during my sleep study. I needed a bipap machine and I did use it. I had it for after surgery which helped in recovery. That was 1/15 (my surgery) and since then I've lost 80lbs and was able to get off of it! Total NSV for me!
  3. Congratulations!! See?? Knew you could do it!!
  4. Mine was like that too, then at 2 1/2 months it started coming out and is still goin strong a month later. Still feels dry and dead, not like my hair pre surgery. It used to be healthy and soft.
  5. Omg me too! Not just losing hair but I've noticed a big difference in the texture too. It almost feels really dry or something. I wonder why?
  6. That's so exciting!! When I get there I may go a bit further and do a happy dance with a cartwheel! Lol! Congrats!!
  7. You look so different, my gosh!! My dr was the same way in that i didnt do a liquid pre op diet and she has her patients eating food right away. You know I've always wondered if ppl who had to do weeks of liquid had some sort of edge but you have done great!! You look awesome!! Nice job!
  8. Omg that's so cool!! Yeah I can't imagine at this point ever wearing any piece of clothing that started with the word skinny! Ha ha! Congratulations! Woo hoo!
  9. You look like you carry your weight well. I'm the same way and the same height. I would say your goals seem reasonable to me. My goal is 180 and my dr just wants my bmi under 30 but they didn't specify a weight. I just remember what I looked like at that weight and either that or 190 I would be happy with. But I also agree its up to you and what makes you happy. For me 190 sounds so far away! Lol! Congrats on your success!
  10. I want your thighs! Lol! Good job, you look great!
  11. I have lost 80lbs and my cup size is still the same. I have lost in the band part a lot but not actual cup.
  12. Great weight loss!! Yay! I was only cleared for walking for the first 2 months and I did a lot of it! Now I like to do the elliptical and I also have an Xbox with Zumba! So fun. If I had access to a close pool i would do that as well.
  13. Ummm....I'm kinda curious as to why you wanna know?! Lol!
  14. Just no hanging from the chandeliers! Lol!
  15. I don't think it stretches your sleeve. That's just my opinion, I've read about several veterans on here who drink diet sodas still and they still have good restriction at 1-2 years out. I have tried a diet Pepsi since surgery and it was fine. I burped like crazy all thru it. I don't plan on making it a regular thing tho. For me soda could be a slippery slope as I was addicted before surgery to regular Pepsi.
  16. I waited a little over a week. My dr gave me the green light whenever I felt up to it. No marathon sex or anything. It was gentle and surprisingly pain free.
  17. Me too. It seemed like it took forever to be able to lay in any other position besides flat on my back. I slept with several pillows behind my head, one on my side and one under my knees. There wasn't much room left for my husband!
  18. Sure is. Mine still does it at 3 1/2 months, but really only when I eat Soup. For some reason that gets my tummy goin.
  19. Keep positive and you'll do great! Just keep working on the Water, you'll get there! Congrats!
  20. Congrats! Sounds like you are doing awesome!
  21. Mine started at about 2 1/2 months out. I'm not going bald but its thinning out. I'm hoping it only lasts a few months. I have noticed new hairs starting to grow already tho so I'm happy about that!
  22. That is so amazing!! You're getting your life back! What could be better? Congratulations!!
  23. Wow! Congratulations!! You look great!
