  1. Alex Brecher started following nomorefat
  2. I love all of you, and we are a great group !!!
  3. I agree, for someone who can build excel spreadsheets , quote the web, and keeps everyone informed, you must have the technology To get a pic up sooner than a few weeks. Be like Nike....... Just do it !!!
  4. Ask for a copy of the operation report you can get it from your surgeons office. Takes 2-4 days after surgery. Or make them show it to you at hospital. I would be asking !!!!!
  5. Take your pain Meds as directed. Don't wait for pain to come in. I got a sleep aid from my dr after week 1 cause I had massive gas pain. Get up and move, even if you just walk around the house. Week 1 is the toughest. I am 3 months out and things are great !!! Keep going, you will do great !!
  6. My surgery was in 6/4. My weight then was 245. I am currently 198. Surprises.... 1. Gas pain was worse than incision pain... Hot liquids, gas x and walking helps. 2. Hormones.... They start to go a bit crazy as they release from the fat. Ride it, try to remember why you did this. Trust me, each day is like my life is starting new. I am so happy 3. Burping and farting.... Lol 4. Runny nose 5. You must drink as much Water as possible, sip, sip all day 6. Stalls... You will hit one at about 4 wks. Just stick with the program, it will happen more than once. 7. Take measurements... You will be amazed I love the new me and I am only 3 months out. I have lost 47 lbs, the men are coming out of the wood work, and I truly think this was the best thing I have ever done. It is not easy, use this forum. We are all here for you, good luck !!!
  7. I say we keep making posts until he finally does it !!!!
  8. I agree to !!! Come on dl
  9. Your past the hardest past, enjoy the ride, it's gonna be amazing !!!
  10. Baby girl, I have been watching your progress and you are doing great !!! Keep up the good work !!!
  11. Congrats and welcome to onderland
  12. Thanks, I am much more confident now, I was always beautiful in the inside but my body screamed otherwise !!! This truly is a blessing
  13. I am almost 3 months post op (6/4 surgery). I have lost 47 lbs, I am 3-4 sizes down, slimmest I have been in 20 years. Seems so surreal !!! I can dance without losing my breathe and I have so much energy finally that my body can move as fast as my mind... I used to pretend I was just a body experiment gone bad, god has finally begun to hear my prayers and let the world see what a beautiful person I am now !!!
  14. My emotions were a roller coaster in the first two months. It's because all those hormones were stored in your fat and are now being released. Just ride it, I am almost 3 months post op, feel great and energetic and no longer depressed
  15. I think we all think of ourselves as overweight. I am only about 3 months post op, and I am thinner than I have been in 20 years. I actually have some curves and the men are coming out of the wood work , so not used to that. Lol . I am not afraid to take pictures now.
