If you look at Circa's ticker, she has more weight to lose than you do. It is very common for people that have more weight to lose to lose it faster. You have lost 25lbs in 5 weeks which is actually average to above average weight loss. Is there a point in your life where you could have ever lost that much that fast on your own? The most important thing on here is to not compare to others. Everyone loses at different rates and there are so many factors that play into it (I know someone that lost over 200lbs in the same amount of time that it took me to lose 80lbs, but she still weighed more than I did when I started). If you start comparing, it is only going to make you miserable. Be excited for your own accomplishments and enjoy your journey.

I would get more fresh fruit/veggies (if you can have those) instead of 16 turkey pepperoni's a day.

I know you have probably been asked this, but are you taking a PPI?
It helped me so much with "hunger" throughout the day.
Also, you aren't supposed to be eating until you are full, just until you are no longer hungry. There is a difference and for me it is almost 2 pieces of light salami.
What is in the chai tea? Sugar? Protein? Why don't you switch it out for a low calorie high Protein One? They make some powders that taste amazing. I am a big fan of Click, they make coffee ones with 15g Protein.< /p>

I know the feeling. I noticed the more weight I gained the less people would do nice things like hold doors open. I still think sometimes this is all in my head, but I don't think all of it can be. I do think that some of the people not talking to me as much when I became larger was because I was not confident in myself and people were getting that vibe. I was miserable at my highest weight and I think that showed. People I think can see the unhappy and just naturally stay away, but there are for sure people out there that judge just on looks unfortunately.

Time to go to the ED. Make sure it is the hospital that did your surgery because your surgeon wil be affilliated with that hospital. even if it is not a leak with you not drinking they will give you a bag or two of fluids to get you re-hydrated. good luck

SO excited to step on the scale today and was 197!! I am officially out of the 200s and I hope to never see them again. This sleeve is the best decision I have ever made for myself. I haven't lost a ton yet, it's still early but I'm already confident in myself and learning to love myself again with every pound that comes off. Thought I'd share since this is a huge milestone for me

Everyone is welcome to their own opinion, and to express that opinion is a respectful manner without attacking each other personally..
FYI, my partner is a nutritionist and personal trainer. He knows that I am not fond of Breakfast, or Protein shakes. He has created a wonderful Protein shake that I drink every morning, similiar to the one posted by the OP. It has almond milk, a banana, plain greek yogurt, vanilla whey Protein and cinnamom and is absolutely wonderful. He says the same thing, there is a difference between good carbs and sugars, and bad carbs and sugars, and everything in the banana is good. They are also an excellent source of potassium, and are frequently recommend as a great after workout treat as well.

OMG people. dont get so defensive..... it is only a banana!!!! I am glad that it works for you but for me personally I would rather not have one... and this is what these boards are about... people's opinions. per my NUT, banana's are a no no and I am planning on doing what my NUT. says.

I had over 1 1/2 years to prepare for surgery. the last few weeks I went all in and started cleaning out my food pantry, changing dishes and getting new sleeve friendly recipes. since coming home from the hospital I have only vomited once (took my Vitamin on an empty stomach). There have been a few times that I have been in a stall and I change my diet up some and within 2-3 weeks the weight starts coming off again. I have increased my exercise and have never felt better. My main concern was leakage and sincce that didn't happen I say this was one of the best things I have ever done for myself. In my head I still miss food.... but it is not worth it

Next weigh in. Keep your shoes on and maybe add some ankle weights. However to my understanding if you have 2 comorbid. Conditions your bmi can be as low as 35.

I have found a new love in fish, tilapia and mahi mahi yummm!! Tilapia can be broiled or baked and has 22 grams of Protein in a 3 oz portion! mahi mahi has 25 for a 3 oz portion! and no carbs to boot!! I used to hate fish but since surgery I can't seem to get enough of it =) YUM! Broiling it is my favorite though =)
I have problems with Protein shakes too, YUCK! Something about the texture and aftertaste ... BLAH! I know I have to have the Protein Shakes for now until I can get in enough meals to cover it all so I cheat LOL I go to smoothie king and get the gladiator strawberry powder with a few strawberries added in a 20oz smoothie and it is amazing! 45 grams of Protein and 3 carbs! Takes me about 2 hours to get all 20 oz in but it solves my protein problem so it is worth it!!

The first few weeks post op I felt like eating and drinking was a full time job. It is all consuming but as you are in a learning phase it is all good. It gets easier. And it is doable.

It would be impossible to put into words how absolutely fabulous I am feeling. I will let my pics explain!
    Pre-op: 368
    Today (5 months po): 358
For all the pre-sleevers, I went through days even weeks when I got so discouraged. The scale had times no matter how I stood on the scale it wouldn't move. I promise though, before you know it, it's dropping again!

I'm down about 70 pounds. And I just realized not only was I abusing my body, but damn my poor clothes took a beating. Trying to squeeze into something that is tight as he!!, stretching shirts out, trying not to dry my jeans so they wouldn't shrink, and forget about the chub rub on my pants. I'm just now going down a size, it's not because I haven't lost enough weight, it's because I was always in denial trying to wear clothes that didn't fit properly.
Needless to say I am enjoying wearing my clothes, especially now that they fit appropriately.

so with my husband gone all summer I am really not cooking that much but I had to give you guys a heads up. Once a week I have been going to Sam's Club and buying a whole rotisserie chicken for $5.99. I'll bring it home and take all the meat off the bone and put it in a tupperware container. It lasts me all week with myself and daughter. Their breast meat is really tender & juicey. Add it to a salad, use refried Beans and salsa for quick mexican dish. There are so many possibilties. my favorite is just adding grilled mushrooms with low carb/sugar BBQ Sauce to it. The dog loves it to because if there are any leftovers at the end of the week he gets a treat
