  1. The cup size is based on the difference in size between your chest and your boobs. I went from a 46D to a 42 DD with a 100 lb loss. I started in 26/28 and am now an 18 in pants and an xl/16 in tops.
  2. FYI-Pineapple juice contains an enzyme that breaks down protein. It would probably not be effective with a low protein food. It is not the acid that helps.
  3. The worst is behind you-100 pounds lighter now and I appreciate everyday based on my former bad experiences. If I hadn't had trouble fitting in a booth I would not be able to be grateful everytime I now sit in a booth and I fit!
  4. This is a struggle on many fronts. We were overweight for a number of reasons, certainly some of them non-physical. Food played certain roles in or lives, even more so around the holidays. Your life has changed. Even though it is for the better, change is hard. We can mourn what we have lost, even if we are aiming to lose it. You did what you needed to do for your healthy body. It may take your mind a little longer to readjust!
  5. Do fish grow on trees?
  6. I am staying on plan today because I didn't yesterday. Thank goodness I am scheduled for a fill on Monday-I am way too loose!:think
  7. I got my tracking number today. Congrat Chim, I know you have been wanting this for a long time....enjoy!
  8. Hooray for you!!!! Can't wait to join you there!
  9. Has anyone who used the code and got the bugg for $236 gotten an email confirmation? I haven't and am a little worried.
  10. With all this yapping, you all heve forgotten those of us in the middle. :omg: We are working on being condescending but not quite there yet. We also have a few ridiculous questions left. I think that there is too much attention paid to the oldies and newbies. We in the middle don't even have our own name. I think this some sort of violation of our rights. Would someone pay some attention to us?????? :heh: Love to the newbies and the oldies and the sparklies and the nymphs and the ignorant and the condescending. I need all of you to make this journey a success.

  12. To answer your questions about the 20 minutes, it was tough. I would start to feel there was no way I would make it and then in a minute it would pass. I ran just as hard as I could without being out of breath. Probably though it is not as bad as you think it will be-What's the worst that can happen-take a short break and then get back to work!
  13. I guess I am just going to have to use it right away-I know my husband, if I use it now he will probably get me something else for under the tree. He is really a DH!
  14. LOL-It wsn't all in 6 mos. I went from 330 to 315 in about 14 months after giving up candy. At the beginning of April, I met with my nutritionist and she gave me a 1600 cal diet to do for three days. I just kept doing it until my surgery in July. I lost 40 pounds between April and mid July. Since my surgery I have gone from 275 to 227. I don't have any secrets except that I exercise and try not to eat crap. I drink lots of water and crystal light. My weight loss is slowing down a lot though. Lost only 1 pound in two weeks. But I really need a fill. I am going next Monday. Thanks fir the encouragement. You will be here before you know it!!
  15. I have tried these noodles, but have a hard time getting past the fishy smell. I love tofu but these smelled even after I rinsed them and cooked them. Maybe I am oversensitive to the smell?
  16. Did the week 5 day 3 run for 20 minutes. Couple of times I thought I might not make it but I did. I had my usual yoga class this am, but I didn't run yesterday because of the weather so today I double up! How is the running going for the rest of you???
  17. Losing-I am so sorry you have had to limit your exercise. You have been a great motivator for me. I did day one of week 5 again and will probably do it again! Yesterday I planned to run but didn't. It was 38 degrees and 10 to 20 mph winds. During the week I can run inside at my school but on the weekends I have no other alternative. I did get plenty of exercise in and hope I can get in a run today.
  18. Somehow alcohol is more enticing. I wonder if it is because the alcohol metabolizes into sugars. Drinking is definitely different now. I feel like if I let myself-I would drink too much, So I have been careful about when and where I drink. I have done away with the glass of wine (or 2) at home to relax and only drink in social situations or in restaurants (before I eat of course). I am only in a situation like this every couple of weeks so I know I won't go overboard!
  19. AWESOME-you are a great success!!!!!!:clap2:

  21. You sound just like me!! I made myself give up candy for a year before I started the process and then for the 3 months before surgery I ate "as though" i was a bandster. I raised my confidence enough so that I felt I could be successful with the band. Now 100 pounds lighter-I have to say I feel great and don't regret my decision for a moment! I would do it again in a heartbeat! Good luck with your decision.
  22. Welcome Cassandra- So glad you joined us. The more support you have the easier it will be. Nice to have you on board!
  23. I just became the proud owner of a bodybugg. I have been debating for 2 months, reading and rereading the posts here. When I checked 24hour fitness it was 279 and used the $50 off code, so I got it for abour 236. This is my Christmas present from DH. The question is-How the heck am I gonna wait until Christmas? I don't think I will be able too-I thinking if I use it right away, my Christmas present might be being 10 lbs lighter-C'mon folks tell me what I want to hear!!!:eyebrows:
  24. I can wear an underwire bra! I can run! I can feel my muscles!:whoo:
  25. If the receiver doesn't think a remark is funny-can it be a joke????????
