finally ready

So, I've been putting off the surgery option because I didn't think I was ready, and I wasn't. I thought I wouldn't be able to discipline myself to stick to it. Now, after 21 months with no sugar, I think I may be ready. I've signed up for my first seminar, researched my insurance, and am reading Weight Loss for Dummies.

I've done the diet route so many times I should write a book. I'm a Weight Watchers three-peater. I have my one year coin from Overeaters Anonymous. My BMI is 46 Could I please have some feedback on whether or not I'm doing the right thing? I'm tired of being overweight.:help:

You sound just like me!! I made myself give up candy for a year before I started the process and then for the 3 months before surgery I ate "as though" i was a bandster. I raised my confidence enough so that I felt I could be successful with the band. Now 100 pounds lighter-I have to say I feel great and don't regret my decision for a moment! I would do it again in a heartbeat! Good luck with your decision.
