  1. It should be ok as long as it didn't have cheese on it. Cheese can make you gag!!!!!
  2. Because I made it through my liquid regime yesterday and am ready to start anew, after my crappy food weekend.:clap2:
  3. YOU GO GIRL!!!!!! I want to be overweight!!!!
  4. I will stay on plan because I had a bad food weekend and I want it to be behind me!
  5. Hi did week 5 run one. Each run this week is different. Its moving a little too fast this way. I am going to repeat this run at least one more time. It is 3 five min runs with 3 min walks in between. The last 5 minutes was tough! I went away this weekend and ate crap and drank too much wine. So today I am on a liquid only diet to break the crap cycle. So far so good. I have horrible belly pains-I think my body is less able to tolerate crap!!!! Have a happy run!!!!
  6. Finished my week 4 session 3. I am feeling concerned about my slow speed. I am wondering if I should repeat week 4 to try to increase my speed or just go through the program and worry about speed later? What do you think?? Hope you are all enjoying your runs!!!:heh:
  7. I have found that wine is the worst for this. If I drink wine now I have to do it before my last meal! Hope youn feel better!
  8. I use My Daily Plate and love it. mydailyplate.com
  9. I had my surgery today and was hungry because I had to fast. We stopped at KFC on the way home. My doctor said I couldn't eat solids but they went down just fine. Did anybody's doctor tell them that they couldn't eat solids but they really could with no pain or anything. Do you think my doctor knows what she is talking about?:eyebrows:
  10. I have been tracking on the Daily Plate since April...it rocks:nervous
  11. I have been having this myself. last week I felt I could just go on eating forever. Now that I have had my period for a couple of days i am much tighter. I almost called to make a fill appointment, but know I had read somewhere that TOM can influence restriction. I am glad it is not just me!
  12. Thanks for all the birthday greetings. You guys are great! I got a JCPenney gift card from my Aunt who knows I have NO Clothes that fit me. I bought my new sweaters and shirts in (drumroll please).....the Misses department!!!! Last time I bought clothes in Miisses sizes was more than 29 years ago after a crash diet (which immediately came back of course). I remember wearing size 18 pants in eighth grade so you can imagine how awesome it feels.
  13. Run 1-week 4-I did the 5 minutes!!!!!! Today is my 46th birthday and if you told me a year ago I would be out running (voluntarily) . I would have laughed. So far so good, but I am afraid to even look at week 5! :faint:
  14. It's funny how sizes change. It seems that it has no relation to weight loss. My loss has been steady but the sizes change in fits and starts. I was in a size 20 for about 2 weeks. I have been in 18 pants for more that a month without a budge And do be careful not to buy jr size by mistake. I never had this problem before, but I bought 2 sweaters online for a store that sells jr only (I had no clue) and they are way too small! I thought about returning them but I love having clothes too small to try on again and again until they finally fit. With any luck they will fit me sometime during next winter!
  15. I am losing about 3 pounds per week. I think I eat more than many bandsters (1200-1300 CALS). This is what I eat 6:00 am fuzyy navel Protein drink 90 cal 23 g protein 10:00 am beef Jerky 60 cal 13g protein 12:00 Half of a Healthy Choice panini 155 cal 12 g protein 3:00 Almond nut thins 90 cal 2g protein 5:00 papadum crisps 120 cal 4g. protein 7:00 Eggplant rolettes 350 calories 12 g of protein about 1024 calories 79 grams of protein I exercise at least 6 times a week, burning about 300 calories per day, a couple of days a week probably twice that. Hope this helps
  16. Enough with the pastry!!! What are ya tryin to do to us??????? But seriously folks, I did week 3 run 2 today and was ok. Every week I am scared this next one will be too hard, but so far, so good.
  17. As always you guys are right. I have to be patient and go through my own unique experience. If I woke up tomorrow at 150 I would have some serious head issues to contend with and part of it is that I am mad at myself for letting my weight get so high. I love my band-it has changed more things in my life than my weight. Thanks so much for your support!
  18. Cajun-what worked for me was 6 or 7 high protein meals. I went for about 1600 calories a day-What really helped is eating before I got really hungry. I would always have to be prepared so I would have something high protein to eat anywhere I went. I also started walking every night, I lost about 2-4 lbs per week. I started at 330 and was down to 275 for surgery. My doctor did not require it-but I had to prove to myself I was able to make a serious commitment to the band. Take it one meal at a time-You can do it!
  19. As of this morning I am down 100.5 lbs-I am so happy I could burst!!:clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2:
  20. I would not consider many of the foods you eat as mushies. Certainly not brownies, whole beans in chili (refried are ok). ravioli or lettuce. I would even hesitate over meatloaf. Did you get to see a nutritonist? That might be helpful! Hope things get easier for you.
  21. Well as of today I have lost 100 pounds from my high weight!!! well 100.5 to be exact:rolleyes. It has been a long journey. It began in March of 2006, when I decided to get serious about the band. I figured that I should test my ability to make a commitment to this tool. So I gave up the thing I love most---candy! After a year of eliminating candy from my diet I lost 15 pounds.:clap2: When I saw my nutritionist in May of this year, she asked me to follow a high protein, 1600 cal a day "eating plan" for 3 days. Well I did and haven't stopped to this day. I lost an additional 40 pounds before surgery. With the help of my band I have lost 45 more since my surgery! As I sit here typing I can hardly beleive this is happening to me!!!!!!
  22. I would make an appointment with a nutritionist that has experience working with lap band patients. The nurse was rude and unprofessional, not to mention she was outside of her area of expertise. You might want to share this experience with your surgeon so others don't have to deal with her rudeness. Hope your fill makes life easier,
