  2. For Sure!!! Got mine lifted and new implants 2 weeks ago..... from losing all my weight I went from a 46 DD to a 34 partial A cup.... They flopped and sagged and looked like 2 deflated balloons............ I am much happier now...
  3. I started at 266 being banded oct 11th 2007 and today I am at 184.... 30 pounds to go yipeeeeeeeeee.. 3 fills at 6cc in a 10 cc midband
  4. I can't help with any fill dr's in MS however my Dr is now doing first fills at the 4 week mark. . Good luck in your search and congrats on getting banded,
  5. I do understand your gas problem. Ever since I have been banded I burp like a freak. When I eat, when I drink. Every bite or sip results in emmbarrasing belching, not just one but constant and it lasts for 10 minutes. If I am not burping I am passing wind. AHHHHH But the pounds are dropping and I eat or drink only around people who know my gassy issues lol
  6. that sounds really high for a fill.. I was a self pay and surgery was $16,000 and I have lifetimes fills and unfills included. I would look and see who else is a few hour drive away.
  7. I understand not having enough restriction and being frustrated waiting for a fill. Now is the time you need to use what the band has taught you and eat smart and smaller portions. The band doesnt loose your weight you do, the band is a tool but the life style changes is what is key.
  8. I do drink sometimes.. It is now wine instead of beer. Just remember that alcohol will effect you much faster now and the calories in your drinks can be massive. Oh don't try doing shots!!! Hard to make a big swallow and it comes right back up....lol
  9. I can eat when i smoke but the problem is i fall asleep before the munchies hit!!!!!!! being banded I am puff puff pass out......LMAO
  10. I have a friend who's family doc will do her fills. Her surgeon contacted him and told him how to do it...that is another idea you might want to look into
  11. Coffee is like a drug for me. I am actually drinking a cup as we speak. My dr didnt have a problem with me drinking it as long as I drink it black. I drink anywhere from 3-5 cups a day.
  12. My Port is about an inch under my belly button. It has turned almost all around now... UGH I am going to the Doctor in 2 weeks to see if it needs to be changed.
  13. I read somewhere that they are doing the surgery at a hospital in Edmonton. Maybe try Capital Health - Home I Read in the newspaper that the wait list is 3-4 years at this time as they are only doing 50 surgeries a year. Maybe that website could help.
  14. Hi Dana, I am in Edmonton also. I had my band done in Toronto and I just fly back there I havent found anyone here yet. What band did you get in Mexico?
  15. I have the frenchmidband and the most my Dr will do for a first fill is 5cc. It depends on the Dr mostly. Every clinic is different.
