in the beginning i took 20 lbs off almost right away.

after that....i keep losing in spurts. seems like i will drop 5-8 lbs...then nothing for a few weeks.

i actually just lost 18 lbs in the last 2 months. i wasnt really even focused on it. i just ate my meals..no snacking. this week however i am starting to snack again....

exercise has been key to keeping my metabolism running well.

I've been using fitday since July but I checked out that link to dailyplate and all I can say is WOW! I like it much better than fitday :biggrin1:

I just checked out the link to Daily plat and wanted to say I love it!!! Much better than Sparkpeople imho.. Thanks for the link. I need all the help I can get right now.

Thanks. I have been using fitday and now after checking this site I can just kick myself in the butt. Most of the things I put on fitday I had to get the info from either another site or drag all the empty wrappers and stuff in front of the computer to log. With this web site so far everthing that I have eaten I have been able to find. I also love how it keeps track of the calories based on how much weight you want to lose. Now I see why I have not lost in the last week.

Yep, I just signed up with Daily Plate, too. It's a really great site. I used to have an account at FitDay, but I only used it a couple of times. It was really awkward, compared to Daily Plate.

I was contemplating on whether or not I should purchase to Bodybugg because it is soooo expensive. I signed up today at The Daily Plate and decided I would try this first, plus it's free.

Daily Plate says I can eat 1900+ calories a day and lose 2 lbs a week ... are they nuts?? :P

i was wondering the same thing, they said i could eat 1400 to lose 2 lbs a week. i of course manually typed in my 800.
