  1. I will be 4 weeks out on Monday and I was wondering what your fat intake/limit should be? I'm about to start my last week on the puréed stage. Thank you!
  2. I start the puréed face on Monday (yay!) I don't think I've ever been so excited about eating blenderized food lol! Does anyone have any recipes or websites with recipes that they would like to share? Thanks!
  3. Congrats on the loss so far! Every doctor is different about each phase. Is the second phase full liquids? Puréeds? Soft foods? Ect.
  4. I know, me too :/ mine are so awful! It's weird, I have absolutely none on all my other body parts, just on my stomach.
  5. Yeah, I agree with sleeve of steel, it just depends on many things like age, genetics, how much you have to lose, and how quickly you lose it.
  6. I'm 9 days post op and I am already worried about scarring. When did you start using scar remedies? Also, what have you found to be the best scar remedy? I'm still young so next spring break/summer I want to be able to wear bikinis and not have to worry about little tiny scars all over my tummy :/ Also, do you have any recommendations for stretch marks? I've gained most of my weight in the past 3 years really quickly so I have awful stretch marks on my stomach. I know they won't ever fully go away, but I'd like to find something that would help. All of my incesions look pretty good except one of my smallest ones. It has turned into a nasty dark bruise and when I touch it, it's like a bump underneath it. Should I be worried? Thanks so much!
  7. I've wondered this too. But after my research I decided that "smoking" it would not be a good idea. I do enjoy having a nice smoke every once in awhile but I don't want to risk anything. I've heard that vaporizing isn't harmful, I may be wrong (since I'm definitely not a doctor) but if you vape the weed, you aren't actually "smoking" it. Maybe do some research and see what you come up with I'm a week post op and might try vaping soon
  8. I was wondering if most doctors do a leak test at the first post-op appointment? I had one the day after surgery but I wouldnt mind another one just to be sure. Guess I'm just paranoid! Thanks
  9. As soon as its over! Lol, but some people do gain some because of the IV. When I got home the next day I weighed myself expecting I gained 10 but I actually lost 1. I was sleeved on June 11th and I am down 10 pounds from surgery and 20 from the liquid diet.
  10. What exactly happens if a leak is found? I know all the symptoms, I'm just curious about what would actually happen. Thanks
  11. I had surgery just this Monday and any pills I have to take, I have to crush them. Most of them taste so gross and bitter, yuck! When were you allowed to start swallowing pills whole? Thanks!
  12. I know it's tough, the whole week before my surgery, I was a mess. I'm 3 days post op now and I'm already starting to feel like myself. Congrats on your new sleeve! It will just keep getting better from here on out
  13. You can definitely see the difference! You look great
  14. I was so nervous the week before surgery, I was a wreck! I am 3 days post op now and already starting to feel like myself again. Good luck with your surgery, you'll do great!
  15. I'm only three days post op and I'm not really sure how much I should be walking. Since I've been home, I've been walking around the kitchen and living room for about 10 minutes every hour and a half to two hours (unless I'm asleep). Is that enough? Thanks!
  16. Owww, that doesn't sound like a good thing. What exactly is "slimed", I don't think I've heard that term
  17. Had surgery Monday June 11 at 6:00 AM. Had little pain all day Monday and Tuesday until I went home. I was surprised I had no gas pain until later in the afternoon yesterday when I came home. I'm taking gas x whenever I can and it's not doing much. When did your gas pains start going away? Thanks!
  18. Hope your surgery went well this morning!
  19. No, they gave me morphine in recovery and the rest of the day/night ive had deramal (sp?) and it actually works a lot better for me. Good luck to everyone being sleeved tomorrow!
  20. Hi guys! It's been about 11 hours since I've been sleeved and I'm already feeling a lot better. It was a rough couple of hours but they said surgery went perfectly. Hopefully I'll get to go home tomorrow. Thanks for all the prayers and I hope everyone that was sleeved today has a fast recovery
