2 Days Post-Op/gas Pains

Had surgery Monday June 11 at 6:00 AM. Had little pain all day Monday and Tuesday until I went home. I was surprised I had no gas pain until later in the afternoon yesterday when I came home. I'm taking gas x whenever I can and it's not doing much. When did your gas pains start going away?

Thanks!

Congrats!!! I went through the same thing when I came home. My surgeon prescribed me prilosec, & it has helped me. I have also been taking mylanta, that gas x didn't work for me either.

Walk, walk, walk.......At least every 2 hours

I ha it and didn't walk to much, prob should have walked more, it really did help when I did. But literally the pain was piercing for me and day 7 it was gone. I was moving around more too, so I'm sure that helped. Thought it would never go away but day 7 gone!
