Anyone Have Surgery At/about 200?
Thanks wannabe but, I've only lost 10 lbs since my surgery. I did lose 10 lbs on the pre-op diet but, I really don't count those because they are the same 10 lbs I gained from the time of my 1st consultation appt until my the start of my pre-op diet. They took the Fluid out of my lapband at the consultation. I guess to give my stomach a break before surgery. So, I've lost 10 lbs so far in 3 weeks 2 days. Maybe I'll lose another 10 lbs this week. Ha, ha. Oh well, I'll take something over nothing any day.

Let's Talk Wig
I don't know anything about wigs but, have you tried the hair "makeup"? It's a powder like eyeshadow but it helps darken your scalp so hair loss isn't as noticeable.

How long did it take to get to your goal? I understand we're all different but trying to get an estimate. So far it's been realy slow.

I have no idea but I hope it gets better and you figure it out. Can you call and ask your doctor about it without going in for a visit?

Medical Bracelets
The hospital where I had surgery gave me a little business card that has a picture of what a sleeved stomach looks like with liver and intestines on the front. On the back it says this person has had surgery to reduce the size of the stomach to hold 3 oz or less... it's the same one you can use at a resturant but, they told me to keep it behind my drivers license in case of an emergency. I was thinking about writing "VSG SX" on the back of my license with a sharpie. I believe the main concern in an emergency is an NG tube could cause damage.

Afraid I Wont Get In Enough Protein.
I'm about 2 1/2 wks out and I've had no problems getting liquids in since I got home from the hospital. No problems with mushies at all. Does this mean my sleeve is bigger, I'm healing much faster, or am I stretching my sleeve by eating/ drinking to much?? I kinda envy those who are tight.
