Recommended Posts

I have my 2 week dr appt tomorrow...thank god , my staples are driving me crazy! They itch! I am down 16 lbs since surgery...yay! I am looking forward to real food...have to be honest , I have taken bites of several different things and have had no issues. I cant wait to get my release so I can go back to work , I am going crazy at home! Best wishes to my fellow sleevers , continued success to us all!

I've been allowed scrambled eggs since the full liquids stage. Just be very careful to stick very close to your surgeon's eating plan so that you don't cause yourself additional problems.

Congrats on your weight loss! :) Great job!! :)

Dang! I'm 2 wks and 2 days and have only lost 8 lbs since surgery. I'm happy for you guys though. I've always been a slow loser. To many years of yo-yo dieting.

Staples are out...woo hoo! I get to go back to work the 29th, i tried for the 27th but she wouldn't go for it. She wanted me to take 4 weeks but i just can't. She says I am doing great and keep up the good work...a good motivator for sure! Happy Friday everyone!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
