Having A Hard Time With Easter Candy In The House
Okay, so I have two little ones and every easter, they end up with like 3 easter baskets each from different relatives. I'm finding it harder to stay away from the candy and would really like to throw it away, but my husband thinks that would be unfair to the kids. Anyone have any suggestions on how I should deal with this?

Out Of Pocket Costs With Blue Cross Blue Shield Of Illinois
Just curious what other people have had to pay. I was under the impression I had a $200 deductible and the rest was covered but so far they are saying I owe $330 and they arent done processing...

Ninja 1100 Anyone Have This?
I have the Ninja pulse, and use it all the time. Except last week while making low carb bread crumbs the motor started making a funny noise. Customer service is great though. Call their 1800 number and they basically take down your name and number and ship you the things you need no questions asked.

High Protein Bars That Are Sooo Good!
No problem sleevedreamer! And thanks for figuring out the carbs for me Lisa! Since surgery I have been trying to find recipes I can modify to make them low carb or recipes that have lots of protein, so if I find anymore yummy recipes that turn out, I'll keep everyone posted.

High Protein Bars That Are Sooo Good!
Honestly I'm not sure on the carbs, the recipe says 300 calories and 24 grams of protein per bar. I'll have to try and figure out the carbs.

High Protein Bars That Are Sooo Good!
Yes, I put them in the fridge. I havent tried freezing them since I just made them today, but that is a great idea! I ended up rolling mine into balls and putting them in a muffin tin and it made 12. I was a little worried about the recipe since it contains cottage cheese, and I hate cottage cheese. Good news is you can't taste it at all, just adds more protein to the recipe!

High Protein Bars That Are Sooo Good!
Made these for the first time today and they are amazing! Tasty way to meet your Protein goals for the day! One tip, if they are too dry just keep adding Water to the mix until you get the desired consistency you want. http://www.ehow.com/way_5494991_easy-high-protein-bar-recipe.html

I'm Struggling With My Choice.......
Trust me you are not the only one sick of strained soups, I find myself in the same situation of not wanting to eat simply because youre so sick of what you can eat. Tomorrow I get to move on to pureed foods and I'm soo excited.Ive also only lost about 15 lbs being two weeks and it does seem like it should be more when you're eating next to nothing doesn't it? lol Just wanted to let you know you are not alone, and my hope is that it will get better, we just have to keep our eyes on the prize and push through. I think we owe to ourselves to live a more healthy life!

Bmi 36 With Diabetes, Anyone With Similar Story? How Are You Now?
Go to tickerfactory.com and choose what you want yours to look like and enter in all your information like weight and BMI. After that it will show you a code that you copy and paste into the signature of your profile. I know how you feel about being tired all the time. Even though I've only lost 15lbs since surgery, my energy level is so much more now. This surgery is definately a great investment in your health!

Bmi 36 With Diabetes, Anyone With Similar Story? How Are You Now?
My BMI was 37 before surgery and my diabetes was pretty out of control with blood sugars ranging from 300-450. I am two weeks out and the highest blood sugar I have had has been 133. I'm sure my sugar levels will keep going down as the weight comes off as well. This surgery has been amazing to say the least!

I Am A Failure
I am not going to be rude and make you feel worse about the situation as I feel some others have done. People make mistakes. I just wanted to suggest not only finding a therapist, but one who specializes in treating bariatric surgery patients. My therapist had RNY so she knows what I'm going through for the most part. It has been tremendously helpful! Best of luck to you and remember that tomorrow is a new day, and a new chance to get back on track!

Sleeved On Feb. 8Th And Sleeve Constantly Feels Tight
Thanks for everyone's input! I am just confused by the serving sizes because in the hospital, I had to be able to do 1 oz of liquid every 15 mins before they would even let me leave! The guidelines I was given was 1/2-2/3 cup every 2-3 hours. It doesnt really seem to matter how small the portion is or even if I eat at all, still feels tight. I am hoping that this is just a part of the healing process and hope it feels better soon. VsgMary, that is exactly how it feels! Glad I am not alone in this.
