You are too good and too sexy for him so act like it. Simply say hello, smile and continue your workout.
  2. Not sleeved yet but I have been practicing the lessons taught in nutrition like, don't eat too much, stop when full, chew your food etc and I did just fine. I was full but not stuffed where I had to unbutton my pants. Since I am the cook, my hubby and son loved all the good food but I noticed that they were eating too fast. My son barely chewed his food and finished in like 8 minutes. Howcan a human tummy hold so much food were my thoughts as I watched them enjoy the tastes of thanksgiving..
  3. From the research I've done and If my insurance would not approve the surgery, I would definately self-pay. This is an investment in my future and my health, the 5,000.00 price tag would be well worth it to me. Good luck on your journey and I realize that no one can make that decision but you.
  4. I think it's a very personal medical procedure and I have only told my husband, mom and sister. I don't plan to tell my workout friends at my gym unless they specifically ask if I've had it done. If they ask me, I will tell them, if not I will keep it to myself. I have three grown children and I will not tell them either.
  5. Hi send us an update Ann. I too am ready to get started down this road. Great to see we have a forum to discuss specifics to us.
  6. Hi Sarah, I am also at Fort Lewis. Thanks for the post it has been a little quiet here but I just joined two weeks ago. I'm still waiting for my surgery date, the process is so long but well worth the wait. Take care and happy packing to Fort Bliss, TX.
  7. You sound like me, I looked at my tummy in the shower yesterday and said I can't wait for you to be gone. I am so sick of working out everyday for nothing, no weight loss, nada I hope they hurry up and give me my surgery date soon. I am ready to get my sexy back. Hang in there friend.
  8. As for me I was in the military for 25 years and it came as second nature to me to exercise ever morning at 0630 AM. However, after I retired two years ago, I had to find ways to motivate myself because I no longer had do morning PT. I decided to join a gym close to home to work out with others because I am a group fitness/social person and need the energy of others to make me workout harder and to show up for class. I often told friends and instructors if it wasn't for you guys I would not finish that class. The gym has lots of fitness classes throughout the day and a childcare center for the kids. You can do a fun class like zumba, spin. les mills RPM, Power Yoga or boot camp. I also purchased a used ipod touch from my local pawn shop for a good price and I loaded it up with my favorite music and videos. Now when I ride the stationary bike or get on the stairmaster or threadmill, I can go all out and try to reach my target heart rate. Good Luck. :aureola:
