  7. Hi eveyone!! I was sleeved on May 3, 2011 and I feel great!! I had alittle nausea and still have alot of gas, but other then that, I'm doing very well!! Hoping my recovery continues on this path!! No regrets!! I just came home tonight from the hospital, so I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed. My boyfriend at first was very upset to hear I want to do this procedure, but said he loved me no matter what, if I chose to do it, he would be supportive. On the way home tonight he had some many questions, he finally asked and I think he was just really worried and now that he knows I'm okay, he is excited too!! I'm very happy to continue on this new journey!! CHEERS TO NEW BEGINNINGS!!!!
  8. Hi everyone!! So I have everything ready for tomorrow, my "BIG DAY", but I can't figure out why the heck I'm so emotional today?? Anyone else feel this way the day before? I mean I'm nervous, but not stressing to much, just keep crying everytime someone tells me they love me or how proud they are of me..WEIRD!!!
  9. GOOD LUCK!! My surgery is tomorrow as well...Hope all goes well!!

  12. So I've been on liquids for 13 days and I've lost 10 pounds. However, for days I've been thinking that I haven't cheated, but unfortantly now I'm wondering if I have. I've been drinking 3 shakes a day and have a small I mean small salad with olive oil and vinegar with like 2-3 strips of grilled chicken, I don't do the chicken everyday. I was also told I could have no sugar pudding and yogurt and low fat cottage cheese. Do you guys think I screwed up by having the small salad? My nutritionist said that I could eat as many fresh veggies as I wanted, so isn't salad fresh veggies, I just am worried about the grilled chicken and oil and vinegar. I also went out for girls night last night and my friends were so proud of me, they all drank and ate appetizers and I drank my Water and eat NOTHING!!! I was so proud of myself. I'm just scared now about the salad and my surgery is on Tuesday!! Anyone that can tell me their thought or opinions would be greatly appreciated!
  13. Hi Ladies, I am on day 11 of my liquid diet and I have lost 9 pounds as of today. I'm alittle nervous because 8 of those pounds were in 7 days and the last 3 days I had lost nothing. My surgery is set for May 3, the diet does get alot easier. I don't really think about it any more. I'm drinking the urjury shakes and Boost Glucose. They are both yummy! Good luck to you all!!
  14. Wow!! Great advise Doggz109!! Thanks!!
  15. I agree with everyone, by day 3 I felt much better. I was moody, had the headache and just kept thinking OMG i have to do this for 2 weeks..But I have not once cheated and I feel fine now and looking forward to my sleeve in 5 days!! WOOT WOOT!! Good luck and you will be okay..PROMISE!!!
  16. So I go for my final weight in before surgery tomorrow and the past three days I have lost nothing on the liquid diet. I'm beyond frustrated. I lost 8 pounds in the first 7 days and have completley plateaued the past three days, I thought it may be because its that time of the month, but really?? I haven't cheated once!! Just hoping I can lose the extra few pounds I needed before my surgery on Tuesday May 3! Sorry I just needed to vent!!!
  17. Congratulations!! My day is May 3, and I had to do the liquids, so you guys are lucky..although I have to say its easier then I thought, I'm totally in the weight loss mind frame right now!! WOOT WOOT!! LOL!! Good luck to you both!!

I'm down 8 pounds on the pre-op diet but have stayed the same the past few days, but I think it's that time of the month. So I'm hoping for a couple more pounds before Friday, when I have to weight in at the doctors. Where are you having your surgery?
