As of today I am down 70 pounds!!! On Friday I put on a pair of jeans from at least 8 years ago, that I loved and had saved for one of those days that I might be thinner again..and I thought no way are they gonna fit..OMG..THEY FIT!!!!!!!! and they were a size 17 in Juniors...WOW!! I yelled for my boyfriend to come look, cause I thought they were to tight, and he said they look great!!! WOOHOO!!!! I am loving my sleeve!!!!!!!!!!

It's such a great feeling..I know that I couldn't have and never would have lost this much weight on Weight watchers...I thank god every day for my sleeve!!!!!!
  11. I lost 14 pounds on my two week preop diet, it consisted of 3 Protein shakes and one small salad with grilled chicken and oil and vinegar dressing. Best of luck to you on your upcoming surgery!!

  15. Hi everyone!! I'm back from my cruise and boy did we have a great time!!!! I was so anxious to get on the scale, thought I might have gained a pound or two (did what my nut said too..not to worry about choices but to worry about portions)..but I lost two pounds..then got on the scale this morning and I lost another two pounds. My grand total is 65 pounds!!! WOOHOO!!! I will be 4 months postop on Saturday! I added a few pictures!!
  16. I think we all go through it!! I did the same thing..anything that anyone said to me the day before I just cried and was so emotional..but I'm now 3 1/2 months out..down 60 pounds and I LOVE MY SLEEVE!! You will do great!! just keep reminding yourself that you are doing this for a healthy you!!! Best of luck on your Journey!!
  17. Thanks Ladies!! I got on the scale this morning and lost that last dreaded gained pound..so hopefully now the scale will start moving!!
  18. Well I did it!! I cursed myself into a dreaded stall..it's been a week and I haven't lost anything, as a matter a fact I gained 2 pounds, but have currently lost 1 of them..UGH!!! However, I did have a NSV!!!! I went dress shopping for my upcoming cruise and learned that I am not only in a size 14 to 16 dress, but that I'm also down to a 18 in capris!!!! Started at 24, so this is huge for me!!!! So I'm upset about the stall, but can deal with it!! I have a feeling it's from all the stress right now that I'm having at work and home, trying to prepare for the cruise!! But it will all be worth it on Saturday when I step foot on the SHIP!!! Hope everyone is doing well!! Thanks for reading!! KRISTY
  19. Skyblew...Yes!! Seeing you are only 4 days postop, you are still getting the affects of the gas...this will get better each day... I still have gas at 14 weeks, but they should have put you on something to help with it like Nexium of something...but at least the gas is coming up thats a good thing!! Hope everything else is going good for you!!
  20. I AM JUST LOVING MY SLEEVE!!! I was sleeved on May 3 and have lost a total of 60 pounds including my preop diet! WOOHOO!!! I leave on a cruise in 2 weeks, which I have already hit my goal for the cruise!! I haven't weight this little in at least 10 years!!!! Thankfully I started this with a very thick head of hair, because I have lost alot of hair, I totally feel and see the difference, but the doc put me on some certain Vitamins, so that it will help with the hair loss.. I have only hit a 10 days stall..hopefully by saying that I don't jinks myself..but the whole process has been great!!! There are some days that I don't hit my Protein, I sometimes feel like I should be eating another meal, not cause I'm hungry but to get the extra protein... I hope everyone is doing well!! Thanks for reading!!!
  21. I had prime rib!!! Boy was it yummy..but I'm now 3 months postop and I don't miss steak at all!! LOL
  22. RickM..My surgeon is awsome...and has done many! He says that I can crush them, but I don't like to do that. I have had no complications at all and I was a single incision..The pills that I used to take are all large pills. I know that all surgeons are different, so this is just something I guess I will have to deal with till I go in next month.
  23. WOW!!! You look fantastic!!! I hope that at the end I can buy a little black dress too!!! You are rocking that sleeve!!! Congrats!!!
  24. See..this is bothering me that he wont let me on pills yet...I have to take chewable, powder or liquids!! It doesn't make sence!! Oh well he is my surgeon and I've been successful this far, so I guess I should just listen!! LOL
  25. Hi All!! Hope everyone is doing well!! I will be 3 months postop on Wednesday and my surgeon is still not allowing me to swallow pills. I have to continue the Nexium 40mg powder, which I can't stand..UGH!! Just wondering how long your surgeons required you to be on liquid medications before putting you back on pill form??? Thanks Kristy And on a good note I'm down 57 pounds today!!! WOOHOO!!
