Shame!!! Shame on me!
I am with you, I think everyone has the same feelings now and then. I agree with everyone about not spending time with these feelings... I think of them as friends that are no longer welcome. You know them but you don't have to hang out with them anymore hahaha. I am working on doubt too... I keep telling him that I don't have time right now to include doubt in my life so he should just shove off. ROFL Believe it or not it really works!

Sorry to hear your insurance does not cover this procedure... : ( From reading on this forum there are a lot of people who have gone to Mexico for the surgery and had great results. I wish you all the best in your search for an option that will work with your finances and health care provider.

I Need Help with Emotional Eating Plz.
I have not had surgery yet but I completely understand food addiction. My first thought when I am upset is food. I found out some very upsetting news this morning and I got in a small snit with my husband because I wanted to get a coffee from starbucks. (honestly if I wanted coffee that badly I could make some at my desk) but, I just lost it.. I was so mad. Then later I thought about the same moment and I was over it. I am tired of food making choices for me instead of the other way around. I feel so guilty after I indulge in bad foods.

20 years old, never had a boyfriend.
Take time now to know yourself.. the boys will always be there. Trust me! In the end you will be able to have a longer lasting realtionship when you have a firmer idea of who you are. Treat yourself with the same kindness you would give your best friend! :crying: I am pulling for you!!

so the psychologist says try on my own 1 more time with 1 difference before surgery??
I agree with the rest of the forum the choice ultimately is yours. I would research everything you can (which is what I am doing) If you do decide to delay make sure you are keeping up with monthly weigh-ins (if using insurance). You can always get approved and really hit it again and see how things look in 2 months.. etc... I just know for me if I could do it alone I would have already. The sleeve is the added kick in the proverbial (you know what) I will need.

I agree with deedee... never hurts to call your doctor just in case. I noticed your name says songbird in it.. do you sing? I would be interested in knowing that side effects you have noticed in technique if you do.
